Narcoossees is one of the few restaurants we've yet to dine in at disney. We're already going to the Grand Floridian for our dinner at V&A's and are wondering if Narcoossees is any good. We've read the reviews and checked over the menu and want some more input. OUr dinner at Citricos was a flop and I hear that Citricos is supposed to be better. Any foodies on here care to give me some opinions? thanks

Here's a list of some places we'll be sure to dine at this june trip.
Victoria and Albert's (Chef's Table)
Emeril's (Kitchen Table)
Tchoup Tchop
Artist Point
Jiko
Flying Fish

Sorry to hear your dinner at Citricos was a flop. We have always had really good luck there and have always found the service to be wonderful. I have always enjoyed Narcoosee's. I would say that it is not the best food on property, but high up there. Service has always been an 8 or 9 and I would rank the food 8 or nine as well. Give it a try, I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Personally, I think Narcoossee's is overated. There's definately better seafood to be had on Disney property. The only thing Narcoossee's has working for it is the location. Great view!

The food and service were fine, but for the prices and atmosphere it just isn't worth it to me.

The pub on this place makes you think (maybe just me) it's fine dining, not V&A or Jiko's, but close. We put our kids in the Neverland Club (which they adored), and walked over from the Poly. I didn't really enjoy, nor expect, having my chair continually bumped by a parade of strollers carrying exhausted, screaming children. Live and learn.

I am a bit of a foodie, and do npt touch this with a barge pole, it is very over rated.

The 'sour dough' bread is actually bread made with vinegar to give it the 'sour' taste, or it was when we went. We were charged for 3 starters, when there were oinly two of us, I asked for a meal without the potatoes, as I do not like cheese, and had to scrape them off, the steak was OK, not good not bad, service was very poor.

it took them 15 mins to take off the over charge for the starters and I did not even get an apology.

The only good thing was te view, but a really mediocre resturant.

I read that the chef at Citricos recently moved to Narcoossee's in order to improve it. I haven't read any really recent reviews since he/she went there, though.

I haven't eaten there yet but wanted to throw that out for what it's worth...

We went once quite a few years ago. I remember it being noisy and crowded, and I don't remember anything about the food. It must not have been awfully good or we'd have returned by now.:earsboy:
