My guess would be that Saturday is NOT a recommended day at Magic Kingdom, as far as attendance goes. (Lots of locals - being the weekend, etc)

That's probably the answer. But I would think the event would be even more valuable to someone visiting on a busier day.

I'm guessing there are just more people arriving or leaving on a Saturday and they prefer to schedule their special event closer to mid-trip.

I have an annual pass, so I would take advantage of it on a Saturday, when it's not sold out, and then hop to a more-recommended park for the rest of the day…but if someone doesn't have an AP - or a Park Hopper - they would be "stuck" in the least-recommended park for the rest of the day. And I don't know if that one hour of empty MK in the morning would be worth fighting the crowds/lines for the rest of the day..??

That was also along the lines of my thinking. I did find it an oddity that lower crowd level days were having event sell outs, but, at the same time, I see the logic behind it.

I'm keeping an eye on availability because we are considering it for our June trip. Luckily, we are looking at a Saturday!

I agree that Saturday would be crowded at MK, but I'd do the event and tour for the morning, then hit something else in the pm with your FP. Even on the day we did it, we were able to knock out BTMRR, Splash, Pirates, HM and Small World before 11:30 (and we rode 7DMT 5 times during the Early Morning time, Winnie 2x and Peter Pan x2, with breakfast. Great time and the food was very good.

I'm curious as to how many parties of 4+ have taken advantage of this.

Anyone out there taken the plunge with groups 4 or more?

Or, if you did it with 2-3, what would have been your part-size limit from a cost standpoint?

It seems all the Tuesday's have sold out but all Saturday's are still available. Anyone have a good guess or logical explanation for this trend?
I went to buy tickets yesterday and was surprised nearly all the Tuesdays were sold out. Considering a Saturday but not sure.

We booked it for May 17th with 4 people. I didn't think we would be interested, but when my I told my DH about it he said to book it. Unfortunately this also the first trip we have to pay for our newly 3 year old son! According to our pediatrician he is over 38", so he can ride the mine train. I hope he measures over on their measurer as well!

At first I was sceptical about this but after seeing the good reviews coming out of it we decided why not? and booked for June 21st last weekend.

It just so happened to be the first Disney day of our holiday and we were planning on heading to MK in the morning anyway and then going over to DHS in the afternoon and saving our fastpasses for there so it works out well for us because it looks like we're going to get more done at MK without fastpasses than we initially planned on. If breakfast hadn't of been included and it was just the rides open then we probably wouldn't have done it but it feels somewhat better value for us with the buffet breakfast because my family would rather have a big breakfast and a lighter lunch.

We are doing it with 7. I couldn't get an ADR for Cindererlla breakfast after much trying, so when this came out it seemed perfect.

I really want to do this, but it conflicts with our CRT reservation. I have been trying to move CRT, but no luck. I wish Disney had announced this before we made restaurant reservations.

Considering this is technically a new type of breakfast, I wonder when they will start letting people ADR it and make it a couple table services :)

In some other threads, I've seen people call it an "attraction meal" as opposed to a "character meal". The price is about comparable to CRT lunch or dinner, so 2 credits makes sense. I just don't know whether allowing dining credits would make Disney more money the way a simple cash add-on does. Indirectly, I suppose it does because you'll use up 2 credits and you'll still want to eat later that day so you'll either upgrade to DxDP or pay out of pocket for some meals. Either way, you spend more somewhere to fit this in your plans.

Has anyone done one that is sold out? We're planning on doing the 5/28 one and there are no longer tickets available for it and I'm curious how "sold out" it will actually be. Also, any reports from this past Tuesday? Have they changed anything or has it been pretty consistent? Thanks!
