When the new ride opens in Epcot, do you think (or has anyone heard) if it will have FP? Will it be tiered?
I've wondering the same thing. It would be silly if Frozen, Soarin, Test Track, and Illuminations were all in tier 1. They just need to get rid of the tiers at Epcot. Especially with the extra screen opening at Soarin' I'm assuming that will open up more FP's for availability. Maybe Frozen will be higher capacity than Malstrom was, that would be great. The whole tiering situation will be odd once the Frozen stuff opens. Presumably, Soarin' will reopen around the same time, or not long after. Since I would imagine Tier 1 for both the Frozen ride and M&G, that would give us seven Tier 1 options at Epcot (six if Illuminations FP is gone for good). That's A LOT. I wouldn't be surprised (and would be very happy) if they dropped the tiering altogether, rather than go that route.

Does it really matter? Is a FP for the Land really a priority? If they do keep the tiering, I'm hoping the opening of Frozen would kick Living with the Land out of Tier 1!

I don't see how they can drop tiering. 90% of all guests would then choose Soarin'; Test Track; and Frozen as their three FPs, and there simply isn't enough capacity to handle the crowds. The people who don't get those three FPs would be left with dregs. The whole point to tiering is that every guest should get at least one FP that they are excited about. So they will have to lump the three I listed above into Tier One, allowing you to choose only one of the three, but almost guaranteeing that you will in fact get one of those three.I wouldn't be surprised (and would be very happy) if they dropped the tiering altogether
I have no doubt it will be first tier.

Agreed, it's really an odd choice for Tier 1.
Yes first tier for sure. Perhaps eliminating Illuminations and replacing it with Frozen. If this is the case I would do Soarin' and TT standby at park opening, and save the FP for Frozen. Makes me wonder if Norway will open early.
I would expect once Soaring and Frozen are up, that both of those will be the top two sought after Fast Passes at Epcot, so those two will be Tier 1.
Yes, I have heard the M&G might also be a separate tier 1. I would think they might drop Living with the Land and maybe even Mission Space to tier 2 (wasn't it a tier 2 before Soarin went into refurb, or am I remembering incorrectly?).I'm assuming there will be FPs for the ride and the M&G, and could see both being Tier 1. If Illuminations FPs stay, guests could pick from five legit Tier 1 attractions...and Living with the Land.

So quick question... A&E will now be meeting in Epcot? Does anyone have an estimate of when this takes effect? Also will they still meet in MK as well? And also is there an estimate of when the A&E ride opens... I'm hoping before our November trip since Frozen is my daughter's favorite!!
Rumor was May 1 opening, but IIRC I've heard it's been pushed back. Either way, it should be open for you in November.
