What do you take into the park?

I'm so used to having my purse, car keys, cell phone etc with me all the time when out and about.

I just realized I won't need all that when at the parks!

What do you take in to the parks aside from coolers I mean. ??

I'm thinking debit card, hotel room key, a little cash and my camera is all I need....so my pockets should work (except for camera but it has a strap) no purse needed.

Me too :thumbsup2 Visa card, hotel key, cash and camera(digital SLR).I just take my small camera bag and it does the job.

Taser
If someone touches my stroller again, they'll be sorry!

I have a metal cigarette case that I hold my credit cards, money, hotel key, etc. in, it is perfect size and I love it! Camera of course, then I take chap stick, hand santizer and depending on the time of year, sunblock. I try not to bring too much stuff so I bring what will fit inside the camera bag.

Now for my DD4, it's another story :)

Without my daughter, I take my phone (back pocket), hotel key, AP, ID, CC (other back pocket) and sunglasses (head;))

Seems like we all bring just about the same thing. If it's a cooler time of year, we brink coats, gloves and scarves then just get a locker. You can get in and out of the locker all day long so that comes in super handy!

I have a little black pouch I use to use when I went snow skiing.
I wear it around my neck. It holds my room key, VISA, PhotoID, Disney ticket and money. It will also hold a small camera and my cell phone if I wanted but those usually are in my pocket.

I like to travel light when touring the parks.

I leave my coat in the car at the PDX airport before we catch our flight to Disneyland.
We like to go in the off season, usually January.
Anaheim's weather is summer weather for us. Most days the low temp for Anaheim is still way more than the high temp here at home during January.

When we went in January, we definately need coats! It never got out of the 50's! I'd at least have it in the room just in case. Even in the summer I often need a light sweater for mornings and evenings.

We bring our insurance cards with us too, just in case. AAA card can come in handy too sometimes. Especially in DTD.
I carry that and the other things people said in a small purse that I can wear over my shoulder or around my waist.

I bring my Baggallini, cell phone, Disney Gift card loaded with some money, lip gloss or lip stick, room key, park hoppers for the whole family, Disneyland Resort map and activities guide, ART passes to get back to HOJO.

Yup, same for me! Hotel key, visa card, cash and camera, all go in my pockets! It's the best way to go!

We pack pretty light. Just a phone, room key, $, camera, and sweatshirts or light jackets. Some rides are chilly, so I like to carry one around just in case.

Wow, I pack heavily compared to the rest of you. I bring a backpack that holds my cell phone, money, room key and park tickets, papers in a folder with various bits of information (misc. trip tips from HydroGuy and others, dining options, pressed coin locations, etc.), my camera, batteries, mini first-aid kit, Aleve and Tylenol, sunscreen, tissue, hand sanitizer and wipes, mini brush with hair ties, sunglasses with case, carabiner clips to hold our hats after dark, and sweatshirts. My DBF usually carries the backpack and I carry a cooler backpack that holds a large reusable water bottle and mini Gatorades. I guess you could say I like to be prepared! :lmao:

I bring this tiny little backpack and stuff it with whatever I need. I always have my cell phone, hotel key, DL ticket, cash, camera, sunblock, lip balm, sunglasses, water, and my sweatshirt smushed inside! Might seem like a lot but it's really not! just my essentials :)

I try to find a small shoulder purse that I can put my camera, tickets, keys and money in. I like it this because it is small enough to take on rides and I don't have to have bulging pockets. :thumbsup2

For the 4 of us we bring 1 backpack & share carrying it. In there we have> hotel key, park hoppers, cash/credit, cell phone, camera, extra batteries, sunglasses, hats (only if it is going to be a scorcher!), a small amt of first aid stuff, sunscreen, lip balm, hand sani, wet ones (travel pk), ibuprofin, water bottles, small portable snacks, any paperwork that I feel I need (maps, plans, etc)....I think that's it? :rotfl: Hoodies get tied around our waists. :)

I try to take some 'emergency ponchos' if it's a sunny day (i.e. if I'm not wearing a rain jacket anyway) and I'm planning on water rides. We also like to wear those Sigg water bottles on shoulder straps. We fill them with ice water and drink mix powder in the morning. At lunchtime we fill them again (with drinks from our sit-down restaurant, or ice water, using another drink mix packet). On a hot day, this is really nice to have with you!

When I go with either friends or family I try to pack pretty light (phone, camera, ID, Visa, cash, sunglasses) but as a result of many Girl Scout trips where someone is always injured, I bring a little baggy that has hand sanitizer, Band-Aids (Phineas & Ferb patterned!), Neosporin, sanitizing wipes, and ibuprofen. Girl Scout motto: Always be prepared!

I'm a bit of a Girl Guide too (Canadian here). My first aid kit has Polysporin, ibuprofen, acetaminophen, blister band-aids, regular band-aids, Gravol, Immodium, Tums and Handi-wipes.

I have a small back pack in the day with my first-aid kit, wallet, water-bottle, tissues, sunscreen, autograph book and pressed penny coins. There's room for small purchases. I also have my camera and park tickets in a fanny pack (I know, I know..... but I only wear it at Disneyland and it saves time for those candid moments to be able to whip my camera out more quickly than taking the backpack off and digging it out)

What I have done on the past few visits is cut down at night. After we leave our hotel from our mid-afternoon break, I leave the camera and backpack. We are wearing our jackets and I just have my fanny pack with wallet and park tickets. It's very freeing to only carry that much.

Cash, tickets, room key, credit card and med cards all fit nicely in an altoids tin in my front pocket.
