What do YOU redeem your $$ for @ e-rewards??

I just got an email from them stating that I have to redeem my e-rewards currency by June 28th or I'll lose most of it. I have a little over $100 in my account there and cannot figure out what to use it for.

I was thinking of using the Hertz redemption and just rent a car from them for our next trip but they are off terminal @ MCO and that doesn't really appeal to me. Plus I think I can do better (rate-wise) with another rental agency.

We don't normally stay at the Hilton (although I have an HH account w/ 1500 points right now) and so I am wondering if the points would be a good deal or not. I could redeem for about 6000 points but I think it takes about 10K for 1 free night, right?

American Airlines--no thanks!

The only other one of interest is the Blockbuster rentals--anyone ever have a problem using these at their local store?

Wow how long did it take for you to get that much? I have been doing e-rewards for about 6 months and only have $21.

I have $67.20 not yet $75. but to much over $50 to lose it!!!!!

And what about Omaha Steaks anyone redeemed for these??

I've been doing it for awhile now-probably about 1 1/2 years or so and I have never cashed out there, hence the larger payout amount.

I have heard that the Omaha steaks are really good but we are not really eating much red meat here and that isn't an option for me. If you are someone who enjoys steaks & the like it sounds like a pretty good deal.

I think I may go ahead and do the Blockbuster redemption a couple of times and use up most of my reward. Has anyone had a problem using the free rental coupons?

You can only get 1 of each award per year. Not sure if that means you could get a $25 and a $50 award from blockbuster or not. I just tried to do a second $25 from blockbuster and got denied.

Thanks for the heads-up regarding the redemption. They don't offer Blockbuster at all at the $50 level I guess that is not an option either. I just looked at the program FAQs and it does say there:

You may choose one reward from each reward provider per year.

So I guess I am out of luck. Oh well, at least I know better for next time.

I've gotten the Blockbuster Award. It's six coupons (1 per month for 6 months). They e-mail it to you right away. We've had no problem using them.

Thanks Mattsmom-I went ahead and redeemed for 1 Blockbuster award so far.

Now that I am checking out the Omaha Steaks site, they really seem to have alot to choose from there. I was surprised to see all the desserts, sides and seasonings too, plus they sell chicken, turkey, etc.. Their prices seem a bit high, but if I get the redemption for them at the $50 level I get $58 worth of product when I spend $25 there, seems like a pretty good deal too.

And whats stinks is I still have $38 left and I got an email yesterday that says some of that is about to expire. Oh well time to pick another reward.
