I know the weather is getting warmer for most people but I want to keep believing it is winter. :coffee:
So it depends for me. I can never just drink it out of the little package. I usually add a piece of dark chocolate to make it taste richer. Then perhaps some capiccino (sp?) mix for mocha flavor. Sometimes it is flavored. Tonight it is coconut! And perhaps marsmallows.
However I have some drinking chocolate (Think Johnny Depp in Chocolat) that I use on special occasions.

MARSHMELLOW FLUFF..........oh that is so darn good.....

Tomorrow i will do that for my pm snack........yummy :thumbsup2

Usually, just whipped cream. Sometimes I'll add Godiva chocolate liqueur.

I make it homemade. Sometimes I'll crush peppermints for it and let them melt in it. sometimes i'll add hershey's kisses. sometimes I drink it straight. but there is ALWAYS my awesome homemade whipped cream on top of it. :teeth:

now I'm thirsty ;)

WOW! I love all these great ideas.

The guy at the coffee kiosk in the lobby where I work knows it's a "grande hot chocolate with whipped cream." :sunny: Hot chocolate is also great with a squirt of caramel!

I make a big pot of hot chocolate and add a few large scoops of Cremora and whisk it to make it really creamy.

Enhanced SILK soymilk,Hershey's Cocoa & Nautral Cane Sugar. It's the best I've ever had & has Omega-3 fatty acids & 35% of recommended daily Calcium + alot more.

Coffeemate & whipped cream, with a packet of mint hot chocolate. Yum.

A hershey kiss is standard now... I love the mint ones in there. I also always put a small bit of vanilla... makes it so yummy & creamy :)

Itself..Lol..never really drink it around here though...

Butterschnapps - mmmmm. :thumbsup2

That is my traditional trim the Christmas tree drink. :teeth:

I only use the little hot chocolate packets for my son. If it's for me, its made with Godiva hot chocolate mix (made with milk) or Hershey's Cocoa (again, with milk). The packets are way too watery for me.

Evaporated milk (the packets are usually a little "too" chocolate for me) and a couple of nice fat marshmallows if I have some on hand.. :)

It depends on my mood! (and DH will tell you I have many moods...:teeth: )

At Christmas I like to use a little candy cane as a "stir stick" for minty chocolate, although a dash of peppermint schnapps works well for that, too.
I'm also a fan of dropping a piece of dark chocolate in the bottom - Dove dark chocolate is my favorite.
I have a collection of flavored syrups that I use for coffee/hot chocolate/espresso drinks, and my favorites to put in hot chocolate are raspberry, caramel, hazelnut, english toffee, or vanilla. Sometimes I'll do caramel and pecan together to make a turtle hot chocolate...yummmy!!
My new favorite trick is to sprinkle some cinnamon in my hot chocolate (or coffee for that matter). I learned this from the Mexican barista at the Mexican cafe in our neighborhood - she makes me Mexican hot chocolate or Mexican mochas and says that one of the secrets is cinnamon in the chocolate. Super yummy!
Yep, I looovve hot beverages...it's so cozy to hold that steaming mug in my hands and just breathe in the scent...
