What do you plan to do different this trip?

Staying at the FQ.

Doing Soarin
Some of the rides at MGM we haven't done before
Asia in AK, never got there yet.
MNSSHP
Food and Wine Festival

Liberty Tree Tavern
Boma
The new Garden Grill
Whispering Canyon

This trip I will RELAX! :) Well, that might be wishful thinking, but last trip I had a great time, but I was so worried about seeing everything that we rushed around. I don't want to do that this trip. I have to resist the urge to do everything at WDW. I think it will make the overall experience much better!

Other firsts for this trip include staying at POP. I've never stayed at a value resort, but I am really looking forward to it. :flower: We are also eating at a lot of restaurants that we have never eaten at before.

Just the DW and I so we are going to slow it down and take our time. Spend a lot more time at Epcot. Take full advantage of fine dining with the free dining program. Hope Soarin' is as good as the one in DL. Trying to work out a morning fishing trip. First time at the POFQ, hope it's half as nice as the real Nawlins'.

Well, we only got back from our first trip about 2 months ago, but I'm already planning to go again in Jan/Feb or April/May of next year.

Things we'll do different:

Make the trip longer - last time was 9 nights, this time I'd like 10 or more so we can have a couple more "sleep-in and hang around the resort" days.

Spend the whole time on-site. Last time we spent 5 nights off-site and 4 nights at POR. This time, we'll probably stay at POR again or maybe try 2 rooms at POP. I'd love to do AKL Savannah view, but we'd need a deluxe room and the budget probably won't allow it. I don't know though, maybe we'll do a split stay.

Skip USF, but maybe try IOA if the budget allows.

Skip PSB at Norway. None of us were thrilled with the food.

Skip breakfast at CP. It was good, but even being seated right at 8:10, we felt rushed to try to get out of there by park opening at 9:00. We might try CP for lunch. While we enjoyed the character meals, they weren't as great as we expected and we found that the crowds(early may) were light enough that the kids got plenty of chances to meet characters in the parks. Next trip, we'll probably pick one character meal. Liberty Tree was our favorite, but we might pick one we haven't tried.

Do morning EMH at MK. We planned to do this last time, but had to make an unexpected trip to the doctors instead.

We have been several times and for this trip my daughters (13 and 17) actually requested that we not go to one of the water parks. They both want to spend that time at the resort pool. This surprised me and I keep asking them if they are sure. They don't like being that crowded in the water and the lines and climbing that is involved with the slides.

:Pinkbounc There are several things we are doing that are new !!! :Pinkbounc

1) staying @ VWL
2) Dolphin in depth tour and dive quest tours @ Epcot.
3) Dining at CRT, Sci Fi, coral reef and Beaches & cream.
4) Visiting Kennedy Space centre (Sorry not disney)
5) Ride BTM, RNR, Soaring, plus see some new shows
6) See a parade @ MK. In 5 trips we still have not managed to see one !
7) Try a dole whip? I keep hearing about them.
8) Go to the new Block party @ PI for DVC members !
:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I can't wait
:goodvibes

Since this is the first time we will have gone to WDW without the kids since 1994, we plan on stay as far away from Toon Town as possible. The only reason we may venture there is to possibly buy stocking stuffers for the Christmas trip to WDW.

We also plan on spending much more time in Epcot since we won't have kids with us whining that they're bored or tired.

Other than that, we're going to relax and enjoy our second honeymoon.

This year is our 3rd trip and there is still so much we haven't done....
Our firsts for this year are:

Eating at CRT for breakfast
Going to Typhoon Lagoon :Pinkbounc
Miniature golfing
Going on Soarin', TT, SM
Seeing Fantasmic and Illuminations (hopefully we can squeeze both in)
Take our time thru WS in Epcot to shop and eat. :drinking1
Ride Maelstrom, do the boat ride in Mexico, ride Spaceship Earth, do Turtle Talk and Honey...Shrunk kids 3-D in Epcot.
See the parade in AK
Take those zippy little speed boats out :jumping3:

That's all I can think of right now.

Eat at Restaurant Marrakesh (fingers crossed as I'm the only one of the family interested in Middle Eastern cuisine) at Morroco World Showcase - EPCOT

Sample black & tan's at Rose & Crown at Rose & Crown at England World Showcase - EPCOT

Ride Soarin' at EPCOT

Turtle Talk at EPCOT

Watch the Indiana Jones show at MGM (not a clue how I've missed it all these visits as I'm an IJ fan).

Turkey Legs at Magic Kingdom & MGM (I do it every visit, but I always REALLY look forward to 'em)

Cape May at Beach Club

For our Christmas trip I plan to do the following that I haven't done before:

Go on the new rides/attractions that were not there last time: Mickeys philarmagic, Sorin, Stitch.

See the candlelight processional and tour the deluxe resorts to see the Christmas decorations (not possible last time as it was August.)

Eat at new restaurants: Bomba, Ohanas, Citrico, Teppanyaki.

Do some back stage tours: Segway, Backstage magic.

Visit the value and mod resorts (only got chance to see the delux and cabins/camp ground last time.)

Share a kitchen sink with our friends at Beaches and Cream!!

First thing is stay longer....a whole 13 nights.

Visit the resorts.

Eat at all new restaurants

Try new attractions for 2005

see the Electrical Water pageant

go to the campfire at Ft Wilderness

try the water mice

Buy a PAL MICKEY!!!!!

My next trip in December is just me and my little ones (5 and 7). We've all been there before, and we'll get there again, so I'm not one to rush around trying to see everything. But here's what we're doing different:

-go to Tom Sawyer Island. I've been there before, but my children haven't
-skip a meal at Cinderella's Castle. We're just not impressed with it.
-see Philharmagic. We never made it there last trip.
-see Tarzan Rocks. We've never seen it!
-make sure we don't miss any parades this time. My children really like the parades and I need to keep track of the times so we can watch them.
-this will be a real "Dumbo or Die" trip. I won't have anyone to babyswap with me to do the big rides. I need to read up on that touring plan!!! :) :)

ya know, i think this trip is going to be different all the way around. We have been there dozens of times, we used to live about 40 miles away. We are staying onsite... never did that before, no long drives with pooped feet and sleeping kids. Eating at TONS of restaurants that we have only walked by before thinking that they would be nice... someday! Being able to buy souveys!! everyone has money this time around...

no we didn't become independently wealthy, we just planned our fannys off as a family. It's nice to see our loooonnnnggg list of somedays coming true! :wizard:

On our next trip (who knows when), I want to do...

Rides..

Ive done them all!!

Resturants..

WCC
Boma (Dinner)
Crystal Palace

Hotels..

Boardwalk
POFQ (Done it before, but I cant get enough of it!!)

This trip (hurry october!) will be our first WDW vacation with a little one. Our first grandchild will be with us. He'll be ten months old so he probably won't remember a thing but it will be a trip of a lifetime for his grandpa and me. This will also be our first time staying at BWV's.

-La Nouba! :cool1:
-Different dining ventures...(going to try to wing most of it....I always miss my p/s anyway) :mickeybar
-Lunch with a Imagineer! :bounce:
-FIRST TIME (in 12 trips) going to Tom Sawyers Island! :confused3
-Spend more time in Epcot :wave2:

My husband and I got married in Feb. 2004. We honeymooned in WDW. We were stressed out and exhausted. We went back to WDW this Feb. on a family trip. It was fun, but hectic. We decided that when we made our next trip, we didn't want to be so worn out. So we have scheduled 2 days where we aren't going to any parks. We are going to visit a few hotels to eat and go to Downtown Disney. We are really excited about it :)

:wave2: Hi Thinktinknpixiedust in Rochester! It's nice to see a "neighbor" on the boards! :wave2:

August Firsts - Trip focused on the "Minor" Parks - Lots of time at TL & BB with nights at PI & DQ. A couple new restaurants.

December Firsts - Taking our Grandsons for their First WDW Trip. :cloud9: Seeing the World thru Little Folks Eyes again. DH & I will have a couple days there alone before our sons converge on us - that's a Big First too!

Hi neighbor!! Nice to know there are other Disney people in our neck of the woods!! :wave2:

This is a great thread:

We are going for 9 days. I wnat to be at mk early for three days, and do tomorrow land early one day, fantasyland early another, and frontierland early another. Then get fastpasses and do them all over again. Then hop to another park.

I would love to really give world showcase the time it deserves.

We usually go for rides and skip parades, I always feel like we are wasting great ride time when watching parades. So, see more parades.

Go to mnsshp.
