How much do you spend per night on accommodation, when on vacation?

Obviously business trips,honeymoons,etc are different.

We wanted to book okw but it was over $500 per night, booked por- which worked out at just over $180 per night.

We pay $300-$400 per night but we usually stay in a 2 bedroom BWV(we do rent points). We are paying $280.00 a night for BC this May.

I would never stay at okw unless it was on rented points. We could stay in a OKW studio during the time we go which is September(cheapest time) for $130.00 a night. What time of year are you going?

We're going in August-price was for 2 bedroom villa also.

We're in the UK,so flights are a huge chunk of money, and just couldn't afford that price per night for full vacation.
I've heard of renting points, but I'm not really sure how the whole process works- but clearly it saves you money! :cool1:

We stay at the ASMo every year and pay $70-100 per night depending on the discounts and weekday/weekend rates:thumbsup2It's one of the reasons we can afford to go every year:woohoo:

Same here but sadly pop is over 100.00 a night in value season. But we have had the FD promo the past 5 years. We are going for 14 nights this year.:)

August discounts haven't come out yet, so I'm guessing the $500 was rack rate?
Keep watching for the Late Summer discounts to come out.

Buying DVC points from someone you don't know can be risky, and have heard of some on this board who have been ripped off. A good way to go is Davids DVC Rentals. This way you know you're safe.

I love POR! It's one of our fav resorts, but clearly you won't have as much room as a 2 bedroom DVC! Unless you're booking 2 rooms at POR.

Discounted rate for Polynesian standard view room is $420 a night with tax, more than I've ever paid for the Grand Floridian!

ETA: I have paid over $500 a night for theme park view at CR though. Only discount available was for free dining at that time so I was forced to pay that much.

We paid $230 on two different trips for a family suite at ASMu.
On our next trip we are staying at OKW on rented points for $130 a night in a studio.

I don't think I would pay more than $250 a night for a room.

If I were staying some where like D.C or NYC I know my room would be more than that but at Disney or locally $250 a night is my limit.

We received a pin code for August for 35% off, so we are paying $283/night plus taxes for GV Poly

Ours was also with 35% discount code, just different season. Rack rates just keep climbing!

$4714.00 or $587.00 per night for 8 nights at BLT 2 bed lake view villa 4/12/13-4/20/13. We are 4 adults 2 children, so we would need 2 rooms or Family suite. 2 rooms at POR would be $3000, AOA Family suite $2500, and 2 rooms at the Poly would be $9000 using the spring discount. I think we got a very fair price... location considered.

Normally I would try very hard to not spend more than $100 a night on vacation. I also have a Hilton Honors Visa card and earn free nights and almost always have at least a few nights available. Last trip we spend around $180 a night at POFQ but we got free dining which made it worthwhile.

This trip is kind of special. We just never splurge anywhere on anything and we had a hard year and it's our anniversary so we decided to go a little crazy and are doing a BC CL room. After tax it's about $450 a night for 3 adults and 3 kids in the room.

I wouldn't have spent that much if it wasn't a club level room though. I know this was less than the standard rates on some MK area resorts but for that kind of money I need something a little more special than location.

My limit would be 300.00 for a non club level and 450.00 for a club level room. That even varies. I would pay 450.00 for a club level room at poly, but not at AKL or WL. Outside of Disney I rarely pay over 250.00 for a resort. I have always found Disney to be the most expensive vacation in terms of hotel costs.

Disney is by far the most expensive vacations we've ever had.

What do you get extra if paying for club level?

It's interesting how prices vary.:)

We usually end up paying between $300-$400 per Night.

We are DVC and typically stay on points, but if we are out of points, I won't spend over $100/night. We got a great AP deal on Pop during F&WF!

We rent DVC points. We are staying at the AKL on our upcomming trip for 8 nights and spent around $1200. That's about $150/night. This is for a standard view DVC level.
