Ma and Pa on my mom's side. But Ma is also nana by some of the other grandkids.
Grommie and Didi on my dad's side, but I don't speak to them much.
I'm one of the youngest in my generation so I did not choose any of them.
I think my mom is now grammie to my sister's kids.
They call my dad Beepa, my mom Grandmother (occasionally Gramma), and my MIL Imi (pronounced eye-mee). Well, my 16 year old usually calls my dad Beep and my mom Cracker (from Graham Cracker, but also because he thinks it's funny).
My two boys call my inlaws Pa and Grammie. They call my parents Puppy Pa and Puppy Grandma. The reason being my parents have three dogs and my inlaws don't have any pets. This was an easy way to differentiate between the two sets of grand parents when they were growing up.
DH'd folks are Grandma & Grandpa "the White ones"-we believe this is because they have a white car, white house & Grandpa has white hair. My parents are Grandma & Grandpa "the Other Ones" DS has no idea why he started calling them either name. Dd just followed suit. My sisters GD's call her Mamu like Shamu-and she was worried about grandma
I remember when my brother was growing up and he hit about 16 years old and suddenly refused to call our grandparents Mamaw & Papaw. He changed it to "Grandmother and Grandfather" (I believe he felt that using "Mamaw and Papaw" was just too "hick" for him). I would always laugh because they just couldn't figure out what had happened.
It didn't last too long, thankfully. I love Mamaw & Papaw!
I call my maternal grandparents Baba and Monya. Baba means Grandmother in Russian, and Monya is my grandfather's name, he hates being called Dedya, which means grandfather. Says it makes him feel old. So he's been Monya since we were born.
my maternal grandparents are grandma and grandpa. My paternal grandparents are mom-mom & pop-pop.
My kids call my parents grandma and grandpa and dh's mimi & papa
My kids have an Oma, and Opa and a Grandmommie, and Granddaddy. I had a precious Oma( German) and Opa, and I'm so glad they call my mom and dad that too!
My grandkids call us Grammee and Peepaw. Mine is a shortened version of Grandma but Peepaw we had no idea where that came from. Our oldest dgrdd started calling my dh that as soon as she could talk. We had always said his name as Grandpa but she wouldn't have it.

I called my mom's mom Grandma and her dad was Grandpa. Dad's dad was also Grandpa, his mom died when he was 10, so obviously I didn't know her. He had a step-mom that we just called by her first name.
My kids call my parents Grandma and Grandpa, and DH's mom Grandma (last name). Only my oldest child knew DH's dad and he was Grandpa (last name).
Our first grandchild is only 3 months old, so he doesn't call us anything yet! After he was born, my friends and sisters started saying I was a "granny" now. I said I didn't want to be a granny, because it reminds me of Granny Clampett on The Beverly Hillbillies! I'd rather be called Grandma like we've all been used to in the past. I thought about G'ma and G'pa, as that is what I call my parents in emails. I swear I don't think I've called my own parents Mom and Dad more than a handful of times since I had my first child 36 1/2 years ago!
We'll just have to wait until Xavier is talking to see which he can say the easiest, Grandma and Grandpa or G'ma and G'pa. He's here so much that half the time I have to correct myself after calling DH and I Mommy and Daddy!!
My family always calls grandparents Oma and Opa (we are German) and on DH's mamere and pepere (Acadian French). but DSS21 fiance has started calling DH Pappy so I imagine that is going to stick once the kids start showing up; he is not keen but she thinks it's funny.
I call my grandparents on my Mom's side (the only ones I knew), Anyu and Apu. Bonus points if you know what language that is. I call my dad Papa and my Mom is just Mom.
