Just wondering if anyone knows how they structure group rates? Is it based on the number of cabins reserved or on the number of people in your party? I would love to find out what the minimum requirements are and if there is an advantage to booking as a group (as opposed to making several individual reservations). Thank you!

8 cabins or more is considered a "group booking" and the depoist pp is only $50 (based on double occupancy).

Our family is going as a group and our "Disney perk" is $50 shipboard credit per cabin.

HTH :flower:

The "industry standard" is eight cabins get you one fare comped a double occupancy and 16 cabins gets you two. So if you plan a reunion, get together, whatever, you book 16 cabins you and spouse get to go gratis, I have NO IDEA if disney follows that

Keep in mind that DCL does not allow group bookings on all sailings (unlike others in the industry). For example, they did not allow group space on the repo cruises, west coast cruises, holiday cruises, the 10 and 11 night cruises on the Wonder next September, etc. They also usually do not have group space during peak seasons (i.e. summer) when most people would be travelling.
