Love your trip report we will be down the same time at OLD KEY WEST. when we were kids and did driving for a vacatin we played game like pick a color aqnd see how many car are that color, this can go on for a while the alphabet game what do yo see that start with A and so on. hope this helps

Thanks for the car ride ideas! I'm still looking for more ideas so let me know if you come up with any. When I was going into 6th grade, we road tripped from WI to TN with a few families and I remember playing some type of bingo game over the CB -- that's way before cell phones.
