I'm ordering water, bagels and snacks from Garden Grocer, but thought I'd mail some disposable items just because it's cheeper than ordering them.
So far I'm mailing sunscreen, flavor packets for water bottles, toothpaste and shampoo/cond. tylenol and pepto, etc.

Am I missing anything obvious? (I'm travelling with teens.)What do you normally mail?
Thanks,
~~georgia

i either fedex or ups to arrive the day before we do a box containing our toiletries and coffee - all disposable, none of which comes home with us

I mail cereal (small boxes) plastic spoons and bowls for cheap and quick breakfasts!
pretzels, snacks for in the room - beats buying them.
If you're a coffee drinker, sugar packets too.

We mail cereal, some snacks, paper goods and gum.
Not too many items. Box will weight under 10 pounds.

We do the food stop store when take the car service from the airport.
We buy some fruit and water bottles.

That is about it.
With the food we eat at WDW - we do not need much in our room :goodvibes

Although this may not apply in your case, when DH and I went on our honeymoon we mailed our wedding presents down there. (The ones we were giving each other.) Although we had to bring them back in our suitcases, it saved us from having to pack wrapping paper, boxes, tape, and scissors.

Something to consider--check your box as a piece of luggage. Given the postal rates, it will likely be cheaper. Some airlines still allow 2 checked bags. I am flying Airtran which only allows one checked bag, but you can bring a second for a $10 fee. I figure this will be a lot cheaper than mailing my box. Last week I mailed a 1 pound envelope to FL and the cost was $5.70!

I agree with IMGONNABE40, pay the extra money if need be for the extra piece of luggage, and what you don't use, bring home and now you have extra room for your souveniers:)

i send all our toiletries, shampoo/cond, shower items, shaving items, OTC meds, combs, qtips, first aid items, sublock, toothpaste/brushes,mouthwash, fem products if needed, dry snacks, candy, pool toys...pretty much anything i do not want to have in my luggage or carryon.
