Hmmmm....


Well, I think my "X" factor is best summed up as the "Dork" factor.'


That's right, I like them somewhat dorky - and proud of it!

I like a guy whose personality makes him so darn lovable you really embrace his looks, regardless of what that means - sticky-up hair, big ears, lanky frame...whatever.


I like a guy who laughs at me AND with me, and who can make fun of himself to make me feel better.


I like a guy who "gets" that it's not all about him - it's not all about me, either. I especially like a guy who gets that it's about furry little animals and funny little kids.


And I like a guy who sings me "My Girl", because it's one of my all-time favorite songs, and any guy who has so much as hummed it in my direction wins.



(And, in case anyone hasn't noticed, I've just basically described Clay Aiken, lol.)

what I looked for when I was dating:

looks, by that I don't mean they had to be drop-dead gorgeous, but someone I was physically attracted to

intelligence, I am not a genius, but I need someone who I can talk with and not feel as though I were talking to a ten year old



What I looked for when I got married:

all of the above,plus someone who was committed to making our marriage work, no matter what.

Also, he had to share the same basic religious beliefs that I did
