What do you like to eat that others find disgusting?

You guys are all food mixers! I eat my foods one at a time. Drives dh nuts..........if we get a hamburger and fries, I eat all the fries first, then the hamburger. Dinner of chicken, peas, potatoes.........same thing....all of one before even starting on another.

The only thing I eat that others think is gross is Cream of Mushroom soup. My younger brother used to say it gave him a headache to look at it. My dh and kids tell me I have to eat it in another room.

My husband always gags when I eat marshmellow fluff on a sandwich or out of the jar! :rotfl:

I love Peanut Butter mixed with pancake syrup. Mix it together really good, I like more syrup so it is sweeter. I either dip bread into it or fresh home made tortillas!

You know, I may have to mix me some up tonight, I haven't had it in a while.

Mmmm....I agree with someone above.

One of my faves is salad w/italian dressing and then mix with my italian food (spag, lasagne, mac-n-cheese..)

Peanut butter, american cheese and pickle sandwiches

Munchos chips dipped in cream cheese

I am a food mixer, as well. The most slop mixed together, the better..

For the most part, give or take a turtle, I like these food items. Chiicken's feet are good (steamed in the sauce at a dim sum luncheon).

I suppose that some people would think that tofu is disgusting, but my family doesn't. Some of us also love black licorice, especially me. Love the sweet dutch black licorice!

Sushi... ;) I only eat it around "others" who like it also.

Peanut butter and pickle sandwiches.. are a lil slice of heaven

I wish to thank you all. I think I have found the perfect weight loss tool. Just have to read this thread and the appetite disappears!

I like to put some ketchup and brown sauce on a plate (seperately) and then dip bread into it and eat it. Not that strange, but it turns my BF sick.

I also like to eat pickled onions and then drink the vinegar.

Toast (buttered) dipped in tea.

Regarding steak rare.. my BF and I were out a few years ago and he was ordering steak for the first time. When asked how he wanted it done, he asked for the definitions, as we didn't know. As soon as the waitress said, 'Well, rare is when there's a lot of blood - ', he was immediately like :crazy2: and :scared: and scrambling, 'OMG! Well done please!' :rotfl:

He's a squeamish little thing.

Steamed brussel sprouts with butter, scrambled eggs with cheese and salsa, fried beef bologna and mustard sandwich.....my kids think these are all gross.

i do the same thing.

vsl - i looooove brown sauce but it is hard to find in the states. :(

Ok I've got one. I LOVE bagna cauda. It is basically a couple of cans of sardines, a can of anchovies and two sticks of melted butter all blended together. Then you eat it as a dip on celery sticks. My husband nearly died of disgust :crazy2: when I made it. But what can I say, I am ITALIAN! :teeth:

sushi, natto, kimchee, brussel sprouts, escargot, tofu
Used to eat conch salad and seviche but have to be careful now as I developed an allergy to shellfish.
Having lived in several countries I developed tastes for many diffrent foods that are somewhat exotic.

I like Pickled Pigs Feet (boneless is best), my dad used to buy them as a treat when I was young. Yummy! My wife thinks they are disgusting but until you try them.... :) Same thing with Raw Oysters. My wife thinks they are gross.

Everyone in my family hates Sushi which I really enjoy. Herring in the wine or cream sauce is great, and a tradition in my family growing up on New Years eve. Wife's family thought I was nuts when I first met her and brought some along to a New Years Eve Party at the in-laws! The other thing they laugh at is when I put French Salad Dressing on white rice. I don't do it often, but my wife and her family eat white rice a lot and I get bored it with, so I dress it up.

Wow MickeysGirl - that is quite a combo - as I was reading this thread, I thought I could/do probably eat most of what is mentioned, until I got to this one. Whoa! Then again, perhaps made well, it would be good. I eat anchovies when I am in Spain, but not here in the US....

Then again, what am I going to add? A beloved treat that has been discussed in this very community before... I grew up eating SCRAPPLE! Yum!Thinly sliced, fried in butter, served with syrup. :teeth: Yes, I know what is in it

OK you guys, I can't imagine eating any of these things you list except the marshmallow fluff! I can't believe one of you ruin my favorite mashed potatoes by adding pickle relish! eww.. :crazy2:

I will admit to eating a strange and gross combo as a kid. My brother and I used to love to spread Bumble Bee white tuna in the bottom of a bowl and cover it with spaghetti-o's. We loved it, but it used to make my sister run from us! I couldn't eat it today though.
