Sorry if there has already been a thread like this.
I know there are others out there (like me) who don't need to go on 30 or more rides/attractions in one day at Disneyland and DCA.
What other things do you enjoying doing on your trips to the parks?
To me, no trip is complete without at least some of the following....
People watching. Disneyland and DCA are two of the best places to people watch! I like to just sit on a bench and watch people walk by. It's interesting to see all the different types of peope that come to the parks. And I love seeing the little toddlers asleep in their strollers....too funny! (Especially if they are wearing princess costumes....adorable!)
Taking photos. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to take photos...and Disneyland is a great place to do it. I have probably thousands of photos that were taken in the parks. Photos of flowers, attractions, the castle, etc. I love them all....especially the ones taken around Christmas.
Watching people swing dance. There are some really good swing bands over in Carnation Plaza (or whatever it's called) and a lot of people dance during the songs. There are some good dancers...and some not so good dancers...all of which are fun to watch. I've never had the guts to get out there...but maybe some day. On a few occasions we've seen this older couple. His shirt always matches her dress. I'm guessing maybe she made them herself. They are by no means excellent dancers but they have their own style and their own moves. Everyone loves them!
Eating snacks. I enjoy getting a snack before I people watch or watch the swing band. Sometimes I go for something unhealthy like a chocolate chip cookie and sometimes I'll get veggies. It adds to the fun of people watching.
Hidden Mickeys. I like finding hidden mickeys. I even have a great book that lists locations but it's also in the form of a scavenger hunt. Very entertaining.
Okay...that's all for now. What are some things you guys like doing??
