I don't hear much about this restaurant, but I made a reservation to try it for the first time in November. I'd love to hear some opinions and recommendations from others who have tried it in the past.

Had dinner there last November and we loved it. Food, service, ambiance, everything was wonderful. This is a restaurant that I would highly recommend.

We too will be having dinner at BlueZoo in November! It was described by our DU agent as being VERY good! The online pics from the Dolphin website are amazing! Will we need to dress up??

Thank you! Do you remember what you ate there? Were there any particular standout items that you would recommend to a friend?

Enjoy your trip! I agree, the photos I've seen of the restaurant look beautiful. I'll have to defer to the wisdom of others on whether to dress up. I intend to, but I'm not going over the top or anything. I'll either wear nice slacks and a top or a business casual-type dress.

Thanks! I was thinking around the same. We will also have dinner at Il Mulino so will be prepared to wear something other than park wear! Enjoy your trip too!

We were there in July with a convention. My fellow conventioner, with the money, chose for us a special prix fixe dinner for $29.99. The choices weren't as extensive as the full menu but we ate well and were treated as well as those spending considerably more. Perhaps they will offer that when you are there, too.

The food was extremely well cooked and of the highest quality. Enjoy your meal!

You don't hear much about it because it is not on the dining plan.

In any event, I have been there three times and it is an excellent restaurant. Food is delicious, service is top notch and the decor is beautiful. I won't recommend any particular dish, as I have no idea what your tastes are like, but whatever you order will be wonderful.

I agree! I'm doing a review right now and it should be posted shortly. The dress code is exactly the same as all other Signature restaurants. Avoid what is actually prohibited and you will be fine!!

We ate there again last week and it was so yummy. We had raw oysters and tuna tartare for appetizers and then I had the Dancing Fish for my entree; they fileted it tableside and the presentation and taste were excellent. The others did the Simply Fish but chose different sauces. Nobody offered to share so I assume they liked theirs as well as I liked mine.

I love the fine dining feel here with the quiet atmosphere and the outstanding service.

Can you do it on line? I tried and could not get anything for our trip, tried the week before and the week after. Not even at 9 at night. That all seemed weird. I am going during free dining so I figured the places that are not on it would be really easy to get in.

Some of the best (if not THE best) seafood on the property can be found at "bluezoo".

The "sticky" Cantonese lobster is like heaven on a plate. :cloud9:

You really can't go wrong with any of the fresh fish preparations, and the raw bar appetizers are amazing.

$$$$, but worth it.

Tuna Tartare Appetizer, Bacon Wrapped Tuna, Grilled Filet w/ this wonderful Jus, The Sea Bass was the 1st dish I ever had there and my son who dislikes fish, ended up eating 1/2 of it. It's expensive but truly worth it. It beats anything served at Disney restaurants right out of the water.

We sat at the bar with friends there. We ordered a couple of drinks and appetizers. We didn't like the clam chowder and when the bartender asked us how we liked it, we said it was just okay. Apparently this offended her greatly because she was rude to us and then pretty much ignored us the rest of the time. Another bartender helped us out from then on out. :confused3 We weren't rude or anything, it just wasn't something we particularly liked and we were honest. The flat bread and ahi tuna were however wonderful. I think if we ever go there again, we'll get a table.

Everything! :thumbsup2
Really , it is that good!!
If you like oysters, they are really good here.... All of the seafood is delish, and the ambience is really nice. Very quiet. Enjoy!
