What do you have for breakfast?

I take my breakfast to work as I dont like to eat too early
m -low fat yogurt and a banana
t - pbutter on wheat toast
w- low fat cottage cheese and blueberries
t - low fat yogurt and a banana
f - kashi cereal with remaining blueberries
weekends I usually make eggs

Usually I have a Jimmy Dean Delight breakfast sandwich or a bagelful. However, this weekend I bought whole grain English muffins and egg whites. I will be making an egg white omelet with light mexi-cheese on an English muffin. This all depends on whether I can get out of bed in time to make it.

On the weekends: We LOVE LOVE breakfast. We have omelets with egg beaters and peppers, garlic powder and mexi-cheese and toast. Or we have waffles/pancakes with center cut bacon or we have eggs, hashbrown and toast. Breakfast is my favorite part of the weekends!

This weekend I want to try egg whitel omelet with spinach and mushrooms. :thumbsup2

I hate breakfast!! I have to force myself to eat it so lately I have been on a kick of eggbeater omelet stuffed with spinach and feta cheese.

Quite often nothing, or just a cup of black coffee. Sometimes during the week I'll have half a bagel and cream cheese, a piece of toast, or some pineapple.

On the weekends I'll have cereal, oatmeal, or an egg with toast. If I have a sweet tooth I'll make waffles.

I sometimes don't eat so I come to work and have a Kashi meal bar (who knew I just found them a few weeks ago with the meal replacment bars in the HBA section of the store, or a granola bar.

However I try to alternate:

Bannana and a glass of milk

WWheat Toast and natural peanut butter and milk

granola cereal with lowfat vanilla yogurt over it

I will premake steel cut oatmeal and keep it in small containers in fridge.

boiled eggs and turkey bacon with Wwheat toast (I usually make the eggs and bacon in advance and just have it in fridge then make toast)

Wwheat Toast and cheese

Wwheat Toast and ham/bacon

As a treat I will buy a Jimmy Dean De-light turkey bacon breakfast bowl and roll this up in two tortillas as a breakfast burrito

or sometimes I'll run by starbucks for a Vivanno less than 300 calories it's a whole bannana, cocoa powder, protien powder, ice, skim milk. Kinda like a smoothie only not as juciy flavored (although there are two juice flavored ones).

And sometimes I blow it completly and have a bottled lite mocha frappachino or toast and jelly.

I can eat all these while driving (hence the yogurt and not milk on my cereal)

Luckily I sleep too late to do drive thru food very often and I don't like donuts for breakfast.

I get in ruts. I am in a "peanut butter on 12 grain toast and a Coke" rut right now. Had a slice of cheddar cheese with it, too. I love cheddar and peanut butter together.

Are you Me???? I eat peanut butter and cheese together all the time and people think I'm certifiable. Heck I put pickels on it sometimes, which I do admit is strange but love PB&C on whole wheat or whole grain bread.

Usually, nothing. At least to EAT... I almost always have coffee or tea.

IF I eat something, it's usually pumpernickel toast with butter, or some kind of chocolate kids cereal... like right now, I have a box of Cocoa Krispies open. :thumbsup2

I could eat scrambled eggs, bacon and biscuits EVERY morning! :rotfl:

Usually cereal and water and coffee. I like Special K red berries.

Sometimes, oatmeal. Or English Muffins with PB. And for a while, I was on an organic vanilla yogurt (fat free) kick with craisins and walnuts added to it. Haven't had that in a while.

On the weekends, I like to "go big" and have an egg with toast. :lmao:

My weekend treats:

A couple of mornings I have 1 or 2 heated whole wheat Eggos, 1/4 cup of mini semi sweet chocolate chips melted on top (pre-heat oven and put the Eggos w/ the chocolate chips on top), and then add about a cup of strawberries on top of that. Oh my goodness, was that good! It's so decadent, I've had that as a dessert too!

Another take on that that I like just as much is Apple Walnut Waffles; 2 heated whole wheat waffles, 1 small sweet apple cut and diced, 2 tablespoons walnuts, and 1 teaspoon Agave syrup over all of that. Delicious.

I can't take credit for those. I got those recipes from a diet book.

I am pretty boring. It's maple brown sugar oatmeal just about every morning (M-F) for me.

Special K.
I usually have the fruit and yogurt kind, it's my favorite (:
Thats what I usually have with some sort of cran-grape juice.

I hate breakfast!! I have to force myself to eat it so lately I have been on a kick of eggbeater omelet stuffed with spinach and feta cheese.

Me and my daughter both hate eating breakfast and we don't like breakfast type foods-we have pizza or chicken or something like that on the weekends- during the week a sandwich or something.

Right now my breakfast has been a smoothie using my Magic Bullet. I use low fat plain yogurt, 1/2 a banana and a tbsp. of canned fruit in fruit juice. I use a lot of yogurt. I have been on antibiotics so need the yogurt. Other than that I love grits or eggs.

My neighbor is on Weight Watchers and is always trying new foods to see if you actually feel like you ate something. She let me try her Morningstar Farms veggie sausage patty on a mini bagel. (only 3 points I think she said) and it is actually good!

Oatmeal (I make it from scratch) with apples, walnuts and brown sugar
Low-fat waffles with a little butter and bananas
English muffin - half peanut butter/half jelly
Bowl of Life cereal or Honey Bunches of Oats w/1% milk
One egg over easy with an english muffin

with a cup of coffee/tea, and a large glass of water.

I am quite boring. I only stray from the list a few times a month or at Disney World.

But I am going to try the Steel Cut Oats with dried cranberries. Have all the ingredients in the house except the half and half, never bought it before...

When I was in Weight Watchers, somehow or other I got the tip to load up on Protein and to get some complex carbs every morning for breakfast. I've been doing this for a while now and it seems to work well at keeping me full until lunchtime.

So it's either eggbeaters and toast or eggbeaters coating bread to make a sort of french toast or it's Kashi Go Lean cereal or no fat cheese and a wrap or something similar.
