I got the shrimp noodle bowl last when we were just there and I hated it. Tasted faked an over processed. I've heard others really like it though. My husband and mom got the steak and loved it. I would not recommend the noodle bowl.
Tuna Oscar!!! so good. Fresh tuna is very different from canned--no fishy taste--very steak like in texture. We always order it medium and it is perfect.
I didnt care for the tuna oscar, of course I think the dish was meant to be cooked kind of rare and I asked for my tuna to be cooked just a bit more well...it was very dry and I disliked it very much and hadnt planned on going back.
This trip we are staying at the Poly and want to spend more time at the resort so our first night we have an ADR here so..
I thought about the noodles for this trip but now Im between the shrimp and scallops or the coconut almond chicken and subbing the salad for mash potatos..
DH ordered sushi from the sushi bar. He loved it... I had a chicken breast with a coconut breading. It was okay, not great, a little dry. Still, this was the BEST service we had all week. The desserts were also fabulous!
We have ordered the Terriyaki Steak multiple times, and has always been excellent. We also ordered the Shrimp And Scallops once, but were not thrilled with it.
We've only been once for dinner and we ordered a couple appetizers and a sushi roll to share in lieu of big entrées. It was really ideal for us to do that as we still had plenty of room for drinks and a shared dessert. I'll refrain from giving exact recommendations because I see that you dislike sushi and our tastes will probably not match yours.
Last month dh had the teriyaki steak and I had the ginger crusted ribeye. Both great. We also shared the sticky wings as an appetizer. They could actually be a meal for someone also.
The tuna oscar and the shrimp and scallops are both good, but my favorite entree so far has been the pomegrante pork chop. I plan on trying the mahi mahi this trip.
