What do you find appealing about Jack Bauer??

My first exposure to Keifer Sutherland was in the Lost Boys. I loved the movie but didn't like him because he was the evil vampire, albeit a very convincing one. After seeing the season premier of 24 however, Jack Bauer is definately an awesome guy. It's not apearances, Keifer is really just "okay" but the character of Jack Bauer is definately O'D ing on testoserone and very masculine. What traits does Jack have that you admire? I like that he is fearless, decisive and seems to always do the "right thing".

I find Keifer as Jack Bauer very attractive and compelling and I'm not totally sure why. I know that I like his voice and his intensity. I like his overall look and demeanor. I even like the way he kind of whispers when he's really under stress.

I don't know but he is on my list now.

What do I NOT like about Jack Bauer would be a better question. Smart, intuitive, tough, kind, loving, patriotic, righteous...and HOT! Plus, he's saved my life how many times? Jack always saves us.

Pretty much everything. I never found Keifer that appealing either until 24. I love his voice and his tuff guy attitude. I even like the picture of him on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine this month!

I think Jack's appeal is because he is a man's man, something that is very rare these days. He is sort of a modern day Rhett Butler, jmo.

Anybody else seen the previews for the movie The Sentinel?

I'm a big 24 fan but I do think that if they were going to make a movie with the Bauer character... they should have actually made a Bauer movie. You have to wonder how many people will ask for tickets to see the 24 movie when they get to the box office.

I think I like Bauer because he can be very intense without losing his cool completely. Something Keifer has done in almost every movie he was in, but it's still great to see on TV every week of the season. His dad is pretty good at it as well. Always wondered when he'll make a cameo.
