Just curious as to what makes each and everyone of us on this forum love DVC and WDW. Is it the feeling of being a kid again? The fact that it's like being in a fantasy world when you are there?
The beautiful resorts?

All of the above. I love the theming of the different resorts. When I'm at WDW, I get the feeling that I've escaped all reality (translate-stress). It's a feeling you can't describe. People either understand what you mean, or they just look at you like you've got two heads. Even if you're running non-stop from morning till night (which we don't need to do anymore with DVC), you may be exhausted, but it's a fun exhaustion. I think WDW brings out the kid in all of us. I get giddy every time I get my first glimpse of Main Street. My kids (DD16 and DS12) think I'm nuts. I don't care. I love it. All of it.

OKW -- everything - laid back atmosphere, large units, nice open layout, small condo style buildings

BCV -- location, SAB

DVC -- value and sense of community

WDW -- memories, nostalgia, variety, okay to be a kid again

DCL -- no casinos, perfectly sized classically designed ships

DL -- Walt's hands on magical touch.

Disney -- CMs, family orientation, attention to detail by design

The beach!

The service!

The atmosphere!

The quality!

All the small touches!

The family focus!

The first class accomodations!

The sense of ownership!

Knowing we'll be back!

The memories!

I love WDW because without fail, I ALWAYS have a good time. It was great when we were honeymooners, it was great when we were a couple with no kids, it was great when I was pregnant, it was great with a 3(and 10, and 19) month old, it was great with 2 kids ages 1 and 3..there is no perfect demographic for Disneyworld, no matter what your age or interest it is possible to have the best vaction of your life. I love it becuase most everyone is SO NICE to you. I love it because they make you feel as though your enjoyment of a vacation is paramount to them.
I love BWV because I love the ability to walk to Epcot & MGM, I love the Boardwalk itself as well.

I don't own at OKW, but I adore it there as well for the size of the rooms, and for the ability to park right outisde your room.

I do own at HH and I love it there becuase they have the best cast memebers of any resort, any park I have ever experienced. I love all the activities and the place is beautiful, but it is the people there that make it so fabulous.

Basically I love my home resorts and WDW in general because there is a feeling of you can't go wrong with your choice of vacation when you go there.
