We have our city’s holiday parade on Thanksgiving Eve, so the night is extra chaotic. We’re usually in the parade with our figure skating club, I’m a coach and my kids skate, so dinner is usually out somewhere after the parade. Typically Applebees. It’s one of my favorite nights of the year!

No traditions in our house, but I'm thinking of making beef stroganoff. I can just put it in and forget about it for most of the day while I prep other things.

We used to do frozen pizza before my allergies.

Now, we're doing homemade burgers and fries with some fresh fruit and veg with dip. Something quick and easy for me to make after cooking all day...

Going to a relative's on thanksgiving. I will make the 2 dishes I need to bring Thanksgiving morning. And bake cookies and brownies one night between now and then.

We don't typically do anything too exciting for dinner the night before, but I found a very nice standing rib roast that is the right size for my small family, so we will have that Wednesday evening.

There isn’t really a storm for Canadian thanksgiving. More like couple little snowflakes. Maybe. It’s such a nothing holiday here lol.
Basically a long weekend to close the cottages .

We are truly lazy food people...I think one year we had cereal. Honestly, probably salad.

Thanksgiving for our little family is staying tucked away in our house with a few different pizzas, a few desserts, and pre-cut vegetables to eat throughout the day. If we're not watching a movie, a video game is being played or something like that...it's probably the most relaxing day of the year really.

If we had company coming, it would probably be pizza to keep the house/kitchen neat while prepping for the next day. We don’t have family that we see so it just our family of 5 that 8 have to cook for on Thanksgiving. I think I am going to do some prep on Wed. night. Dh likes stuffing with sausage on Thanksgiving, so ll probably use up the other half for dinner Wed. Maybe breakfast for dinner? Sausage, egg and cheese biscuits?
