What do you do with your camera and stuff

I don't think a full size backpack would fit. I fit my slingpack in one, along with my camera. They are pretty narrow, maybe 10 inches high and wide and then maybe 20 inches deep.

There are lockers beside each ride that requires you to not have stuff on the ride. We out everything in ours for our whole trip and it was always there when we got back.

Does every ride have lockers?

No, just the ones you can't carry things on. I am not sure if DD is one of them, but Hulk and FJ in IOA have them. In US, Mummy and MIB have them and maybe RRR(never done it)

ETA--these are the free ones. There are also ones you can pay for and there are family size ones at the front of the park. I guess someone could rent one of these and stow all their bigger stuff before going to WWOHP.

Some of the other rides do provide lockers, but they cost extra. A few that come to mind are Jurassic Park River Adventure and Dudley Do Right's Ripsaw Falls. I'm sure there are others. They cost $3 for the first hr.

I plan to carry only what I need but I'd really like my slr camera with me in FJ walk through. I have a small one but it is over sensitive on the camera shake and I get blurry pics :( I will either get some cargo shorts or just use a fanny pack. I think the wet rides I will have a big ziplock to put my camera in. Did that at Busch gardens and Hersehy park, worked great!

So the rides that don't have lockers I could bring a small backpack on? I don't mind paying for a locker on the water rides but I don't want to use the lockers at the front of the park, that is to long of a walk to retrieve something when you need it.

You can take your bags on the other rides. Simpsons, you just leave your stuff outside the car(the group in your car is in its own room), Spiderman, they have a place to put it in your car.

I don't know what the deal is at Ripsaw Falls and Jurassic Park, but Popeye's BilgeRat Barges have a place in the middle to out your stuff so it doesn't get wet.

Jurassic Park/Ripsaw Falls have nothing in the boat/log to protect your stuff from getting wet. If you do take a bag with you, make sure stuff you don't want to get wet is covered.

We found the best option was using the Child Swap method. The lockers are fine, but since many people can't seem to follow instructions, lines can form pretty quick, and congestion starts to build up in there during busier times. Younger kids will love walking through the castle, but may not want to ride so while waiting in the child swap area the waiting adult gets to hold all your things. Also, the swap area is a nice waiting area with a TV playing Sorcerer's Stone non-stop. (Weird that both times we were there, we caught the Olivander's scene.)

How small are these lockers? I've got a backpack full of camera gear to store.
This is a shot of the free lockers outside of Hulk...it will give you an idea of the size of the lockers.

I think that I may do the child swap option for FJ, as you make a good case. I am sure the locker line would be just more of a pain. I want to get in and out of that chaos as soon as possible.

Thanks for the info. Does anyone exactly what rides you need to use lockers and which ones that allow you to bring on personal items?

Free lockers are provided for: Hulk, Dragon Challenge, Forbidden Journey, MIB, Rockit and Revenge of the Mummy. Those lockers are free for the duration of the ride. There are NO carry-ons on the above attractions hence the free lockers. :thumbsup2

Thanks very much. A silly question, but do they have signs at these attractions to remind you of this. Don't think I will remember otherwise.

There are signs and the TM at the entrace will usually not let you in line if you have items that will be carried on.

I remember my family always used to rent lockers. Or, there'd often be someone in my family who wouldn't go on any rides and carry all the stuff.
