Well - I've just put on my bright red WDW t-shirt because I'm missing WDW. But I usually look through my scrapbook pages from past trips.

What do you do to get you through to the next trip? (Mines in December hopefully).

Have a great Disney or non-Disney day!

Ann.

And of course - I'd forgotten the obvious one - the daily log-in to the Boards!!!!!!

Ann.

Even though this is considered crazy by other family and friends, I also watch the vacation planning video over and over again!

1. Visit the DIS.
2. Listen to our Millennium Celebration CD.
3. Look at the photo collages on the wall in our den.
4. Plan the next trip.
5. Look through "Since the World Began"--love the pictures.

I painted Cinderella and Lady and the Tramp on my DD's playroom walls. I also frame any memorable things (like signed birthday certificates and an old Tony's "newspaper") My exercise room is now being decorated with Disney. I can look at my Disney posters while I watch my planning video while I exercise.:p I also love planning the next trip and visiting these boards every day.:Pinkbounc

  1. I plan our next WDW trip
  2. I watch old home movies or our past trips to WDW
  3. I watch the Sing Alongs with live characters
  4. I come here and check posts several times a day
  5. I go to the RADP newsgroup a couple times a day
  6. I go to the Disney Store at least once a month if not weekly!
  7. I listen to 100 Years of Magic Parade music and also the ride music CD in the car
  8. I look at our photo albums of previous WDW trips
  9. I check our car rental once a day
  10. I check our flights once a day!
    [/list=1]

That's all I can think of at the moment...

I was so depress...I just wanted to cry then. So what I did is that I just started planning for the following year. Well..the following year we went.

This time...I did pretty well. No Disney withrawals, but maybe cause I am going back in June and staying for 9 nights doing Universal and WDW. Hopefully I can get Disney out of my system. If not...I would have to plan moving to Orlando next year!

I just recently started hanging on the DIS again. I like reading what everyone has to say about their trip...their experience and their thoughts. The DIS feeds my hunger for Disney. It's hard to survive without DIS. It has all the infos you need about Disney and more!

I like watching disney planning video. I watch it when needed.

Hi beattyfamily, where did you get the ride music CD? I haven't seen that one. I would love to get it!!!!! My girls are big Peter Pan fans so they watch the movie a couple of times a week. Every time I hear "Here we go! Off to Never Land!" and then the song that follows, I can't help but think about WDW and the Peter Pan ride.

I forgot to buy it while at WDW and knew it would be diappearing soon, I mean the 100 year's of magic one, so I found it on ebay and bought it there. There's one for sale now at:

100 Years of Magic Ride CD

I DIS :) Sometimes I hop over to our UK community board and visit with my friends there. I read trip reports.

My next trip is in 17 days and I'm getting excited!

Withdrawl is the pits I know..so I try and do a few differnt things.

First I bring home souvenirs I can use at work, like a new coffee cup (my just back new coffee mugs from WDW and Universal are legendary at work), plus other things for my desk. I use WDW pens all the time, and have a WDW pen holder, memo pad, stick ums. Most of my desk is pure WDW, so I am using my souvenirs all the time.

In the car I seem to listen to the Official WDW CD over and over, that really helps some..

At home I listen to Mouseworld Radio, the internet radio station that plays all theme park soundtracks and music 24/7..and I plan, plan, plan another trip...generally right away I set another date so I feel better...

At least once a week I pop in the Resort TV video tape that I taped 2 years ago when we went:D Definatley a life saver. Besides that, basically the same as everyone else, DIS and Magictrips Radio and Mouseworld Radio. Also the WDW Explorer CD Rom helps too!!

Speaking of WDW withdrawl....I'm going through a bad case right now. It will be a year since I've visited the world and I am DYING to go back!!!! Thoughts of disney consume my thoughts. It's obsessive and onlly DIS members can relate. Everyone else probably thinks i'm crazy :D Lately, I've been watching Disney videos like Monsters Inc and Emperers New Groove. THat helps a little. I also listen to Disney music religiously. I LOVE my Festivial of teh Lion King Cd from AK!!!!! I close my eyes and imagine being there :) I also wear lots of Disney tihngs and of course visiting the DIS helps. I love being able to come here and talk Disney and hear about peoples trips. It makes me jealous but also helps too. I am trying to plan a trip for Christmas...not sure if it will def happen yet...but talking about plans helps.
The only thing that can/will help would be BEING THERE!!!!!!!

I plan our next trip. It doesn't matter if I don't know when we'll be going next. The only thing that helps with those nasty withdrawal symptoms is knowing that I'll be going back again!

Head over the www.live365.com and pull up some of the WDW-themed radio stations. It's almost overwhelming to hear something as simple as the Monorail spiel coming out of your PC speakers.

Do a search for "Disney World", and you'll probably get close to a dozen individual Disney-themed stations.
