What do you do to raise money?

Planning on an August 2003 trip. Love the all stars but it would be great to stay at a deluxe. It will be just my boyfriend (hopefully fiance by then!) and I going. We are broke!!! What do you do to raise money???

We use coupons, have a yard sale, put all rebates, tax refunds, change jar change, etc. in special savings account EARmarked for WDW. I also do lots of reward programs to earn web certificates or other gift certificates. We try to budget well on a day to day basis - until we hit WDW that is. Then we go crazy!

Also, I watch these boards for discount codes on resorts and car rentals, as well as airfare deals. Also, we usually stay at AS though - gives us more money to spend in the parks / or stay more days!

Look at where all your money is going now and see if there are any places where you can cut back. For example, if you buy your lunch, start brown bagging. That can save $10 or more each week. Rent a video instead of going to the movies.

If people ask what you would like this year for the holidays, tell them you want Disney Dollars.

Sometimes it is easier to cut back on things if you have a goal in mind. Put all of your savings into a Disney fund.
