Try to ignore my co-workers political ramblings (which is not always easy)
Organize what I do at what time of day (ie. I do my report first, then my filing, etc.) and stick to it
Keep a very well organized desk
Brighten up my cubicle with photos of friends, family and pets as well as some other things to reflect my personality
Music definately helps. We are technically not allowed to listen to cds at work but my manager doesn't care and the people whose cubicles are around mine don't care.
Read the DIS

Read other online stuff.
The hardest things about my job are actually the people I work with. Most of them are extreme in their politics and not willing to accept anyone who is not like them. This leads to some problems but I like my actual job so I deal with it for now. I also have a lot of LOUD people around me, and for some reason, they all like to stand behind my cubicle yapping away all day long. It's enough to make even calm little me snippy. Alot of them speak English, but prefer to speak Spanish (I understand some Spanish and let me just say they are
not talking about work, from what I have picked up

I've heard them say some pretty nasty things about co workers....) . So that is annoying too because they do this all day long, and loudly, and no one seems to care or get annoyed by it except me and one of my supervisors.
Grrrr, someday I will sit in a different area and I won't need as much to make work easier.
I also train a lot of new employees so when I get bored, I often scour the internet looking for new things to add to my training manuals to make training more fun for them.
