I have a big test tomorrow and I cant seem to concentrate on studying and keep wanting to do other things. I keep changing the tv stations to find something to watch while I study or I search for things on the internet or start playing a game or come here to read whats been posted lately. I cant get myself to just sit here and study.

What should I do??? :confused3

get offline, turn off the distractions, turn on some music (helps me concentrate) and read. That is all I can say to help. Oh, and good luck on your test!

I guess I get bored studying so I try to think of other things I can do to keep me occupied........

Drink some coffee or soda to help you stay awake. Turn off tv, computer, games, etc. If you listen to music, make sure it's not too mellow (puts you to sleep) or too fast (too distracting) Take notes while you study. Set a mini-goal--read Chapter 10 in an hour, etc.

Good luck!

Turn off anything that makes noise and get comfortable. Use acronyms wherever possible. Think positive thoughts. Good luck! :flower:

Well we get a formula sheet so I am trying to put as many hints for myself and tables as I can fit into the margin areas.... :goodvibes and drinking live wire to stay awake. No matter how much I study for tests I always panic during the actual thing and forget half the stuff I went over..... :hourglass

I would just turn everything off and reward yourself after studying for a while with a 10 or 15 minute break. That way you won't get burnt out and you can refresh your mind every once in a while.

Good luck on the test!
