I have 2 young kids so our non-park day always includes a character meal at a resort, swim time, and an evening outdoor movie at the resort. When they were younger I took them for the Chip n Dale sing-along. This time we're planning to add mini-golf and DTD time.
), afternoon at Animal Kingdom Lodge taking in the sights, and then dinner at Sanaa. We are also setting aside time to really enjoy Downtown Disney, our resort pool, and visiting other resorts for pressed penny hunting. I'm sure a monorail ride on the Epcot monorail will also be done as our family sees that as its own attraction.
Don't get me wrong, I also love park days, but there is nothing like taking a day off after a few days of park touring to do something relaxing and experience a different side of Disney magic.
