duplicate post. Sorry.
Being not that great at trivia, I like to watch it
I have no problem sitting off to the sides. I do take paper and a pencil to play along but after two missed answers I usually just start drawing. They don't kick you out for not playingWe're doing our first cruise in May and watching a trivia game without actually participating is something I'm interested in doing. Kind of a "get my feet wet" sort of thing before I decide whether I want to play. This is the first time I've seen anyone else mentioning just being a spectator. So I take it this is an acceptable thing?? You can just hang out in the vicinity and watch without feeling awkward?![]()
I prefer sea days to port days, we picked the cruise with 3 sea days for that reason. The ship is always hopping on days at sea, there are activities going all day.
We have do the activities like bingo and trivia. Go to the pubs to relax. Go to the pool, the aquaduck. Sometimes we go to the spa, go for a jog, or just relax in the room and watch a movie
Sleep in, brunch at Palo, play bingo, Midship Detective Agency (on Dream class), Aqua Duck (on Dream class), hot tub, Rainforest spa, on-demand Disney programming in stateroom (on Dream class), movie in the theater, live theater shows, mini-golf (on Dream), sports simulator (on Dream), other cruise activities listed in the Navigator. We've never had a shortage of things to do on sea days. They've been our favorite days on our cruises so far. This is probably a dumb question, but this will be my first time cruising. I will have 3 sea days, so I was curious how much stuff there is to do. I'm not worried about being bored, I'm just trying to gauge if I should bring more than one book or some handheld video games, or if I will be super busy and not need any of those things.
For context, we will be two adults around the age of 30. We will have a verandah.
Could you folks give me an idea of how a sea-day plays out? Like hour by hour or in general?
Sadly, these are no longer allowed.I would gladly take a cruise to nowhere.
Not allowed from U.S. ports. I didn't know that. Still allowed from cruises that don't start in the U.S. Although I know a few folks who take the LA and San Diego cruises and treat them like cruises to nowhere. The don't get off the ship in Mexico. Actually, they are on the Wonder next month.Sadly, these are no longer allowed.
Find a nice deck chair, order a bucket of beer, people watch, ride the aqua duck with kids, cool off in the pool and repeat
