What do you consider to be the greatest ride in Universal?

see, no one else remarked about it as we are universalites here.
universal groupies like myself would rather just enjoy the parks and not get into arguements over them.

It's maybe because all those crazy rides slapped some nice-ness in us.

Probaly the jewel of Universal has to be Spider-man. That ride is more high-tech then any ride. Anywhere. Everytime I go it blows my mind.

A lot of you chose Mummy as your favorite ride- other than what I've gotten out of this thread (the basic storyline, etc.), would someone be willing to tell me what this ride is like? My dad got a guidebook that compared it to Rock 'N Roller Coaster...is that accurate? Does that mean that it's like RNRC because it's inside, or because it has the upside down loops/corkscrews? I'll be going to US for the first time next week, and am curious to hear what this ride is like, and if I should go on it (I have been on RNRC). Any help would be appreciated!

RnR coaster starts fast, goes fast and a quick end. the only story to it is in the beginning at the pre show.

the mummy is a tad different. you are on the ride and enter one chamber.
you get a message to start the story.
it backs up into another chamber.
after that message, it becomes an indoor roller coaster but with no upside down loops.

it travels quickly in the dark and ends abruptly with a mini 15 second movie with brandon frazier.

go for the mummy...........and go twice

you have to put your belongings in the free lockers outside the entrance of the mummy. you can have nothing with you on the ride as there are no stowage bins to contain it. ie: purse, bags, umbrellas, etc.

one more thing, if you are in the regular line, look around on the walls and around you. it adds to the ambiance.

i always go the fotl way but on a slow time last october, walked the regular route up to the ride to see what i have been missing.

with the fotl , you bypass most of it until you reach the ride

My favorite ride - by far - is the ride back to WDW...
I do not like USF.

So why, oh why do you troll around here posting comments? There are plenty of other boards for you to enjoy. On these boards we aspire to help one another--how can your comments be helpful? They are all tainted by your admitted dislike for UO.

We recently went to USO and stayed at the RPR. Hadn't ridden the Mummy before-----it was outstanding. As a Universal/IOA lover I have ridden all rides a lot of times and love Hulk, Spidey, Dragons, Dr Doom, etc. but the Mummy is tops for me now.

We just did Mummy last week...twice in fact. It's pretty cool but our family still votes HULK, DUELING DRAGONS and SPIDER MAN the top three. We may have had unrealistic expectations for Mummy. We felt it was a bit short and only had 10 seconds of real adrenaline near the end.

My DH, DS's and myself are not in agreement-They think DD,but I say the Hulk and the Mummy rock.
