What do you consider to be the greatest ride in Universal?

Spiderman gets my vote - although it does in my experience - breakdown regularly.

of course it has an ending..........maybe with all the people screaming you didn't hear it. lol

the quick 30 second film at the end closes it all out .........start with the mummy, end with the mummy

I don't consider that a legit ending at all. In fact, the entire ride makes no sense. First you're being chased by the Mummy, then you get eaten and end up in a fake unload station( :confused3), then you dive into the pits of Hell only to be greeted by Brendan Fraser letting us know how disgruntled he is about not getting his coffee.

Of course, many people see the Hell - Brendan Fraser connection naturally, but still.... I wanted more closure.

when i was on the ride, i thought that after the fake unload, you are greeted with the shining man-jai, which represents that the mummys have been wiped out

i classify a ride by if it was fun and exciting, not if the storyline necceseraly makes sense. i think mummy is an amazing ride, with or without a legit story to it.

i love your answer.
it's how i think also

IOA - Spiderman (when it doesn't break down)
US - Woody Woodpecker (little boy's choice)

My favorite coaster is Dueling Dragons (the Hulk hurts my teeth - literally!)

My favorite ride is Spidey, with the Mummy as a second.

I can't pass up Poseidon's Adventure, just to walk through that water tunnel.

It's a close call, but the Hulk has to be my fav. Put your hands in the air before the ride even starts and you get a glorious zero G over the top which can't be beat. :goodvibes

Funny, I've been on Spiderman probably 30 times in the past 6 years IOA's been open and never saw anything break down, except for small things like the fire effect not working or the spider signal (which is now NEW and different than the old one)

This past June, in the freefall scene, the car was twisted away from the screen.

I also like Spiderman but it seems that during many of (my) rides, at least one effect isn't working or is 'ahead' or 'behind' the car. (ex: the fire, some other effects, etc)...most of the time you're so occupied though you won't notice!

We are from England and visit every year - I normally get on Spiderman about 4 or 5 times during our vacation.
Every year at some point the ride is either temporarily closed or it breaks down whilst I am on it, this August is stopped for 5 minutes half way through.
