So i'm interested in what your collections are? All the 80s threads have me thinking!

I collect those Plastic 80s bell charm necklaces & Vintage Tupperware.

Wierd i know!

I collect anything related to dolphins. I have a curio cabinet of dolphin figurines(wood, glass, crystal etc), plates, snowglobes, nightlights, chimes...you name it I probably have it.

I collect anything Star Wars and Disney pins, mostly Star Wars Weekends, Pirates of the Caribbean, or Narnia. :)

Ceramic teapots, interesting wine bottles, Disney pins, and Disney and dog stuffed animals.

I collect older Fisher Price toys from the 1960's to 1980's, mainly the Little People/Play Family toys. My collecting stems directly from my parents refusing to buy me more when I was growing up. As a kid, I vividly remember being at K-Bee Toys, wishing I could have all those nice shiny Fisher Price sets I see on the shelves!

Now as an adult, I have a goal to buy every single set!! :teeth:

Some of my recent buys:

Hardcover copies of the John Tenniel illustrated version of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland published prior to 1950.

Cookbooks.

This is DHs collection! He loves collecting the little people sets! We scour garage sales, flea markets, estate sales and antique sotres for them! Once he gets doubles off to EBAY some go. Our antique mall here in the area is closing and we snagged the FISHER PRICE TUDOR House with accessories and people from 1970s for 2.50! :earseek: it was in great condition! needless to say he was happy!

Vampires. Seriously, I have a collection of vampire figurines, and I get very excited around Halloween because I know I'll be able to add to it. I also seem to collect concert t-shirts, anything with skulls on it, and tarot cards.

Beatles stuff. Also have some cool Disney stuff.:)

Forgot to add that I collect Smore's ornaments. I use them at Christmas time to make a village.

Credit card bills. :lmao:

I am a Disney collector, so I pay a lot for my hobby. I specifically want anything Ursula or Club 33.

And now it seems POTC movie posters. I must have the originals and not reprints. I have two so far and have people looking for more. I want only theatrical and theatrical advance, so in essence, I need six to complete my collection.

I was a huge Star Wars collector until a couple years ago. I still have a pretty decent collection but the thrill is gone. :guilty:

I collect anything Kaa (the snake from the Jungle Book). This is great because there isn't that much out there so it doesn't cost much money. :thumbsup2

I also have a decent collection of Possible Dreams Santas.

I collect Carnival glass. It is really cool glassware that has an iridescent (sp?) look to it. I also collct anything that has to do with dolphins.

I collect Disney things, handbags, tote bags, porcelain masks, mini carousels, and anything to do with English Bulldogs.

What started as a Kitty music box collection 21 yrs ago has turned into - if it has a cat on it I probably have it - My DH calls it the cat crap collection:laughing:

My favorites are the music boxes and the "Cat's Meows" (little wooden carved houses that all have a signature kitty on them somewhere) Christmas collection I get from my MIL every year.

I also have an extensive Longaberger basket collection - I haven't bought any new in about 5 years but I still have a basket for just about every purpose in the house, car and my desk

I collect fortunes, like from fortune cookies. And single socks, although that collection is not by choice.
