Disney collectibles... snowglobes, figurines, framed art...anything Disney!
cherrished teddies, and Boyds bears.
dont know if it is a collection, but I have more Home Interior, pampered chef, and Creative Memories than anyone I've seen... guess I just like to shop!
I used to collect Barbies, but I am not crazy about some of the changes they have made. I also have other dolls. Right now my biggest collection is scrapbook supplies. I have tons of stuff, but I seem to enjoy buying it more than using it.
I collect Occupied Cups and Saucers (I started when I was 8, have been collecting 30+years), Green Adam depression glass, Cherished Teddies, Lighthouses, anything dealing with Lady and the tramp, Disney ride pins and a small collection of carnival glass. I have 3 china cabinets full of stuff.
Except for Disney movies? Nothing really. I've always wanted to collect something, but never really got into anything inparticular. I've started to collect different typs of Santa's, but I've stopped collecting those.
I collect a lot of Disney items - Vintage WDW souvenirs, license plates, cels, movies and anything relating to the Haunted Mansion.
I also collect records (remember those?) - my collection of albums and 45's runs from the mid 1950's to early 2000's.
I have a lot of move posters, both Disney and non-Disney. I have a lot of them framed and hung up around the house. The problem is that I've run out of wall space and there are now about 65 of them stored in tubes under my bed!
- disney snowglobes (I have 16)
- disney pins (15 - just started last trip)
- shot glasses from all over the world (about 50)
-christmas ornaments from all over the world (too many to count)
I collect Elephants. It all started before kids when dh, mil and I went to the zoo. It was one of those that you drive yourself through, a safari. There were 2 very VERY frisky Elephants.... we were appalled yet slightly intrigued. We bought our first elephant that day in the gift shop. Since then, every time I go somewhere I buy one. I've bought a number of them in the China pavilion at Epcot. My husband just bought me a new crystal one for my birthday. I think I have around 40 of them. They are all solid ones, I don't do soft stuffies or anything. They are displayed in our entertainment system. Maybe i'll take a pic in a few minutes.. they are really cute, lol.
*Boyd Bears
*Disney Snow Globes (although I only have 5)
*Cookbooks
Now that someone mentioned it.....I guess I collect scrapbook stuff not intentionally tho...I just never have time to use it! I love to scrapbook, well maybe I just love the scrapbook stuff
I am a self-professed beer snob, so I have a jar full of bottlecaps from the many, many beers I have sampled (from bottles, at least).
I collect Stephen King novels and even have an edition of Thinner from before he was revealed to be the author...has a photo of someone else on the jacket and everything.
I also collect Weird NJ magazines & books of New Jerseyana. I probably appreciate my home state more now than I did when I lived there.
All I seem to collect is bills.
My wife collects Hummels (I think thats how you spell it). Her grandfather collected them and after he passed, she got his collection and started adding to it.
I collect Christmas Decorations, ornaments, figurines, motionettes, etc...I have so many ornaments and not enough tree space.
I also collect pieces here and there of carnival glass. I got a few pieces from my Grandmother, and have been trying to add to it for the last several years.
