What do you call your parents/grandparents and what do your kids call you & grandparents

We called my paternal grandma "Nanny", and my maternal grandmother was just "Grandma Rose" -- we never knew either of our Grandfathers.

....on a funny note, my sister and I are planning on teaching her son to call our mother "Big Momma" -- her magicband for our December trip even says it. She's not very thrilled, as you can imagine. Our Father's being called "Grumpa" and he embraces it with pride.

Big Mama is what I plan on being called Haven't figured out my husbands yet---got plenty of time! My girls kind of want him to be called Chief...what he retired as from the Coast Guard but I like Pops. And my brother in law is going to be Grumpaw while my sister is going to be Lovey. Or that's what it is at the moment

I called my parents Mom and Dad. I had a MawMaw( Maw) and PawPaw( Paw) and a Grandma and Grandpa. My girls call my mom Nana and my dad was Poppy. They call my in laws Mamaw and Papaw.

I called my parents Mama and Daddy even as an adult. I called my mama's parents Granny and Granddaddy. My daddy's mama was Grandmother Flanagan and his stepfather was Granddaddy Flanagan. My son called my mama memaw (the one thing she said when we kids started having kids was that she didn't care what they called her as long as it wasn't some silly name like memaw. My son was grandkid number 3 and that's what he called her, the rest did the same). He called my daddy Granddaddy. He called his daddy's mom Granny, his daddy's daddy was dead by the time my son was born. He calls me Mom and his daddy Dad. I call my son baby, he is 36 this weekend.

We, DH and I, call our parents mom and dad. My teens call us mom and dad. My family uses Mom-mom and Pop-pop (my paternal grandpa we called Pops) for the grands and DH's uses Grandma and Grandpa.

I am not sure what I want to be called. Guess whichever kid has the first grandbaby gets to decide.
