Uber and Lyft require disassembling your
scooter so it will fit in the trunk. Use an accessible Minnie Van or an accessible Mears taxi if you want on demand transportation.
Bus drivers are not required to help you. I haven't seen or read about a single time where the driver wasn't willing to do everything.

You need to know, and communicate, how much walking you can do. Can you park your scooter outside a restaurant and walk to your table? Do you need to take your scooter to the table and trsnsfer? Do you need to stay in your scooter while you dined?
