What do use to identify your rental EVC from other's when CM'S Move it?🤔

Pirates, Peter Pan and Buzz - no scooters in the queue…Sometimes I get lucky at Buzz and they let me use a back door but not always.
We’ve been lucky with buzz a few times and were directed to the LL (although our luck was not so good last trip as we got stuck in the LL as the ride went down. There was no way we could exit that queue. We were stuck until the queue started moving again.

Uber and Lyft require disassembling your scooter so it will fit in the trunk. Use an accessible Minnie Van or an accessible Mears taxi if you want on demand transportation.

Bus drivers are not required to help you. I haven't seen or read about a single time where the driver wasn't willing to do everything.

Wedge It door stopper is the way to go. Get it on Amazon or the mfg site. Bellhops ask me where to buy it.

You need to know, and communicate, how much walking you can do. Can you park your scooter outside a restaurant and walk to your table? Do you need to take your scooter to the table and trsnsfer? Do you need to stay in your scooter while you dined?

Pirates is the worse ride for scooters. You need to transfer to a wheelchair for the entire queue
Oh my…thank you for being willing to offer all that information. Greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the confusion. It was on Soarin that the scooter was taken to a room and the door was closed to relocate it so it was available when he got off the ride. Disney Magic!

The couple who we were next to on Soarin’ just told the cm that they needed the wheelchair to be brought to them ar the end of the ride. They definitely have to move the scooters out of the theater for safety reasons but I’m sure if he let them know he couldn’t ambulate to the scooter they would’ve brought it to him.

Also of note—ar the end of GotG, my mom’s scooter was not parked next to the elevator. We let the cm know and they opened a door and brought it too her.

We always tell them that she needs to get as close as possible to the ride for Soaring and always take it right up to the seat. There are then painted boxes on the floor between the sections and that is where the scooter or wheelchair is parked while we ride. After the ride, I go grab it (or sometimes a CM will start bringing it over to) and bring it back to my mom. When my mom was more mobile, she would give it up before the final loading area and it would go through the door and be at the exit for us.

I'm glad I found this thread. Very informative! I'm going next week and the knee that got injured on a Disney bus last December (and no, I didn't tell the bus driver I was hurt when he asked; in retrospect, I should have), has decided to start bothering me again. DD tells me that if I can't walk comfortably, then she's making me get a scooter. A lot of questions were answered for me, well beyond "How do I not lose my scooter?"
