what Disney stores are open

Again, depending on where in Maryland...there is a nice DS in the Christiana Mall in Delaware, right off 95. "Home of tax free shopping!" It's the closest to us.

The Disney Store in Vernon Hills, IL is still open, although the last time I was in there they had the entire back wall emptied of merchandise.... :-(

We have 3 close by. One at Four Seasons Mall in Greensboro, NC. Another at Oak Hollow Mall in High Point and if it is still there, one in Hanes Mall in Winston Salem. If you travel I-85 through this area the High Point store will be easiest to access and it is a very nice store.

The disney stores around Milwaukee,WI are open
Mayfair and Southridge for sure
I also know the Michigan avenue store and Schamburg stores are still open in ILlinois

The Disney Store at the Newport Centre Mall in Jersey City (right near the Holland Tunnel) is open and they are my main Disney Dollar supplier. The Staten Island Mall store is still open, too.

Not sure what is still open here in Northeast Ohio....
Haven't been out and about lately...
But....
I did hear an advertisement on the radio for Parmatown Mall last week and it still listed the Disney Store.

Side note....
I read on DisneyStore.com that as of May 1st none of the Disney Stores will except any kind of "collectible" return from the web site or catalog.

Also near Phila, PA is the Montgomery Mall in
Montgomeryville, PA - their Dis Store is still open.

However, the one in Plymouth Meeting Mall,
Plymouth Meeting, PA is closed.

The Disney Store in the Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall, PA (Allentown) is still open. I also think the store in Wilkes-Barre, PA is still open.

Tucson Mall DS is open and well!
It is our only one!

Lower level Robinsons-May wing...
4500 N Oracle (at Wetmore)

Happy Travels!

Our Disney Store is open... it's in Lafayette, Indiana. Also I've recently been to the Disney Store in Indianapolis at both Castleton Mall and Circle Center Mall... both open. :)

which store is the best in ga. i live south of atlanta need to get tickets been to the arborplace one is the one near the bass pro shop that way i can get dh to take me i don't drive atlanta he does sorry if i got off topic was it ok to mention the bass pro shop? if not please edit thanks::MinnieMo :wave2:

Went up to the SouthPark Mall in Strongsville, OH yesterday and the Disney Store is still open there.
Really sad thing though........
First of all the 3 CMs in there must have been new (no one year pins on thier name tags)
Second......we were in there for almost 45 minutes and not one of them even spoke to us!!!!!!:earseek:
And I was watching......only one CM even spoke to any of the guests in the store! And all she did was say Hi. The other 2 just stood behind the counter chit-chatting to each other and taking their good old time folding a pile of shirts!!!!

I am just shocked how that store can go from years ago (over 3-4 yrs) being the most friendly group, with outgoing CMs that welcomed the guests and talk with them about everything Disney and were excited to show off the new stuff, etc...
To....back in 2001 to having the CMs just try to become used car salesmen.....pushing every guest, trying to force them to buy plush and videos.
To.....NOW......NOTHING! They don't even talk to the guests!!!
WHAT HAPPEN!!!!!
:earseek:

The Disney Store in the Poughkeepsie Galleria in Poughkeepsie, NY is still open.

Question is......how many of you can say the name of my town???

I love hearing the way people butcher the name and I especially love hearing southern accents trying to pronounce it!

The NYC store in Manhattan on 5th Ave is still open. Eisner did say that this one would never close.

I guess people traveling to Florida will have no reason to go to a mall to a Disney Store when they could go to World of Disney.

However, there are several stores open here in the Tampa Bay Area:

Countryside Mall (as listed above)
Tyrone Mall (St. Petersburg)
Citrus Park Town Center (Tampa)
University Mall (Tampa)
Brandon Town Center (Brandon - just East of Tampa)
Sarasota Square Mall (Sarasota)

The store in West Shore Mall in Tampa closed about 2 years ago.

Can't believe no one has posted this one. We live in Naperville, west of Chicago. Our local mall, Fox Valley in Aurora, Il., still has a Disney Store. We go there everytime we go to the mall. It always seems pretty crowded.

Is it "pu-kip-see"? :)

Our two closest malls in the north Dallas area (one in Plano and one in Frisco) still have Disney Stores. I think that some in the Dallas area may have closed but I'm not sure which ones.

It's turning into a WOD.

In SE PA, the following stores are open:
Exton Sq, King of Prussia, Springfield, Willow Grove, Montgomery, Oxford Valley. Concord and Christiana are still open in DE. :D
