What Disney Snack Do You Wish You Never Bought (and Ate)?

There are more things I thought I wouldn't like and ended up loving, like violet lemonade, the maple cinnamon bun at Gaston's, Mango Green Tea Slushie in China, yummmmm - but I do remember gagging on some sushi thing at the CS place in Japan. The snowcones there need more syrup/flavor too.

The turkey leg. Didn't care for that at all. And we love turkey. I think it's because they smoke them. Now the pork shank at Gaston's Tavern is to die for!!!:thumbsup2
Nancyprincess:

Agreed on the pork shank. That was everything I hoped for in the turkey leg. The only thing about the shank is that it is pretty pricey for what you get. But it is very good.

School Bread.

Those frosted character cookies and look so cute that are wrapped in plastic wrap. Taste like cardboard. Or what I imagine cardboard to taste like.

The turkey legs always look amazing. Are they not worth it?

And what is school bread?

School bread. I was so excited to try it and it was absolutely nothing like I thought it would be. Yuck.

Another vote for the dole whips. They were ok but I wouldn't go out of my way to get one and I love pineapple. Other side of the coin I loved the chocolate and caramel covered pineapple spear in Germany. That was a wonderful surprise.

The only one I threw away without finishing was the rice krispy treat that was offered as a dessert in some quick service place. Dry, dense and hard.

What the heck is school bread??

Oh & my vote is for Dole Whips - not sure what the hype is about - meh.

Zebra Domes and School Bread. So not worth the money or all the hype. YUCK!

This. Exactly. So disappointed after all the hype. Also underimpressed w Dole Whip...but I am going to give this another shot.

Another vote for the turkey legs. I tried one years ago. One bite and into the trash it went :P. I think it was the smoked flavour.

The treats I can't do without are the caramels from Germany and a bag of Chips and Dale's Mickey pretzels.

I agree the worst is the cream-cheese pretzel at MK Lunching Pad. One bite and into the trash. It was so dried out, the cheese in the middle looked petrified. I think this is either the fault of workers who don't throw out old food, or the heat lamp is over-heating the pretzels. Either way, it was an inedible waste of $4.

The jalapeno cheese pretzels at AK are delicious and always served in good condition. I get one every trip.

Zebra domes were a huge disappointment. Thought I was getting a special treat when I bought them at Mara CS. Again, one bite and out they went. They were tasteless junk.

Hate to say it, but the turkey leg. I ate it and it did NOT agree with me! I'll never eat another WDW turkey leg again.

I'm with you....I think it's because it's smoked. I wish it was just a regular turkey leg!
