What Disney Snack Do You Wish You Never Bought (and Ate)?

The crumb cake at the boardwalk bakery...it had a thick layer of brown sugar...way too much. Also the red velvet cupcake at the contempo cafe  I love love chocolate and cupcakes and cream cheese frosting but disneys version wasn't good.

Dole Whip - Couldn't wait to try it after reading so much about it here. But, can you say ... TART!!!! I handed it to DH to taste and he agreed; it ended up in the trash.

Have to say turkey leg. I felt like I was in The Flintstones and the meat was on steroids. Not nice :rolleyes1

another turkey leg here. It sounded and looked good to me, but the meat was just terrible quality. Maybe I just had a bad one, but i'm not sure i'd ever risk trying it again.

Back in 06 during the Food and Wine Festival, I wish I never would have bought the Escargot at the Paris booth. :crazy2::snail:

I loved the first Turkey Leg I had back in the early 1980s. I hated the second Turkey Leg I had in the 1990s, and I've never bought another one.

For us it was the rice crispy mickey heads... maybe I'm just spoiled by homemade ones, but I wasn't super impressed.

Agree! Not very good at all.

For me it was a Rice Krispy treat. I love the ones that are on what looks like a popsicle stick, some with chocolate ears, and are wrapped in plastic with the bread tie on it. I bought one from the Main St Confectionary that was a bigger block with icing on it and maybe some sprinkles. It was awful. Hard as a rock and tasted like plastic. Two very different Rice Krispy Treats.

There must be some inconsistency with the Rice Krispy Treats. A few years back, my wife kept getting Rice Krispy Treats. I was giving her a hard time that she would spend that much for a lame Rice Krispy Treat. She smugly broke off a piece for me to try... it was the BEST Rice Krispy Treat I had ever eaten! She smirked the next day when I bought one for her AND one for me.

My husband was all drooling over the pictures of the frozen chocolate-covered bananas... He finally caved and bought one. Hated it. Tried to offer it to me, I didn't care for it either :)

The cream cheese filled soft pretzel. It ended up in the trashcan. I guess I'm spoiled by Auntie Anne's pretzels.

ITA.Yuck! The cream cheese filling was more like pancake batter. In over 40 trips it's the only snack I would not buy again. Oh, wait a minute......also hated the tomato wine sold at Epcot's Flower and Garden festival. Ewww!

The giant cookie at Epcot WS coffee cart. My daughter wanted one. I agreed to split it with her. It looked amazing but was pretty tasteless.

The turkey leg. Didn't care for that at all. And we love turkey. I think it's because they smoke them. Now the pork shank at Gaston's Tavern is to die for!!!:thumbsup2

Over the years we've only had 2 snacks (that I can recall) that ended up in the trash instead of in someone's stomach:

1) School Bread

2) The American Dream drink in Epcot - looked pretty, but that was it

Otherwise, we've been so happy with our Disney food tasting and have discovered lots of favorites over the years. :goodvibes

Some nasty pretzel we got from a cart in front of Germany. That thing was sooo nasty!!!

And now I'm craving school bread.

Zebra domes...they weren't terrible.....just meh. After reading all the reviews when they first came out I just built it up so much in my own head:sad2:
