Thought this would be a fun topic. Now I'm going back a ways, but I always thought Bedknobs and Broomsticks would have made a fun ride. Guests could board a flying bed and fly to the Isle of Naboombo. What Disney movie would would be your dream ride come true?

Don't forget going to the Alley in London to find the map to Naboombo!!
I loved that movie and agree. The guest could turn the bedknob and the bed could be taken to a different scene from the movie.

I would like to see a Chronicals of Narnia ride. Maybe journey into the White Witch's Palace.

Mine has *kind of* been done- but not at the MK the way I would like it to be: I'd love it if there was a Cinderella walk through or even ride within the Castle. I remember as a kid being disappointed that there wasn't much "to" Cinderella's Castle. I guess I expected to see something more like what's at Sleeping Beauty Castle at DL. I realize there are some wonderful mosaic tile scene reproductions in the walk through to Fantasyland, and much of the Castle is taken up by the BBB and CRT and the Dream Suite. I just wish maybe something more interactive or animatronic (sp?) existed in diorama form, or possibly even a dark ride.... now I'm rambling...

definitely a LWW ride with the white witch castle, prince caspian, asland...

an Enchanted ride or Polar express train ride to see santa etc...

Aladdin! There could be a sequence when you're flying on the magic carpet.

Mary Poppins! flying through London and scenes on her umbrella

The Black Hole & Tron

both classics, both have obvious ride connotations. Heck, you could re-theme TSM with The Black Hole... the robots have the shooting gallery scene that would be easy to simulate. Tron has the light speeders & the tanks that would make for a great ride.

The Incredibles with the egg shaped omnimover ride vehicle through an exploding volcano island.

Cars, with a kinda driving simulator/bumper car kinda thing.

Hercules and, although not a full-length movie, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow!

Hercules has so many amazing settings.. the Underworld, Mt. Olympus, ancient Greece.. I think it would make a great dark ride with it's storyline and characters.

And The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is just an all-time classic. It would be so much fun to maybe see the story through Ichabod's eyes (like in Snow White's Scary Adventures) and have to make it to over the bridge at the end to escape the Headless Horseman.

Not an animated but I always thought a cool runnings ride would be really good. You would be in a bob-sleigh and would go through fast corners and uner dark snow bridges etc always thought it would be a cool ride. :)

imo i think disney should have completed "Animal Kingdom" with the original design . My children would have loved the unicorns and dragons-the dragons would have reminded us a bit of Shrek I think.
:thumbsup2

I like the idea of the rumored door scene in Monsters Inc being turned into a dark inverted roller coaster, where your legs dangle down below. Of course one of the great movies with little or no love is the Incredibles. I have no idea what type of attraction you could do for that though. I know, these are Pixar films, and Pixar seems to be trumping Disney Animation as far as attractions, but hey,... who can't admit they are great movies.

I didn't remember until I read this, but when I was young I too was dissapointed that there wasn't a Cinderella ride inside the castle.

Also, someone else mentioned a Tron ride. That would be AWESOME!!!

I want to see a Monsters Inc coaster that you would ride on hanging doors and would chase Randall, Sulley, Mike & Boo around. Imagine separate tracks for them to move non rider doors on with the gang.

The new Monsters Inc dark ride at Tokyo DL looks totally lame. I feel that in the 21 century if your not moving fast, you have to give people something to do other then just look at animatronic figures.

I would take the Monsters Inc idea here and expand. Mabye work over Backlot Tour to go along with Pixar Place. Like said above maybe Cars bumper cars or Cars ride similar to Indy Speedway. A water ride through the sewers for Ratouille. You could do a couple of things back there. It would jazz up the studios a lot. And hey Disney....think of the stores you could put at the end of the rides...:rotfl2:

I was thinking an Incredibles ride similar to the Spider-man ride at IOA would be fun. It would be cool to incorporate the zero-point energy thing and maybe a "100 yard Dash" part.

Yes! Great idea, I hadn't thought of that!

I agree with Hercules, too (one of my favorites).

I know they do "Haunted Mansion Holiday" at DLC and TDL, but I'd like to see an expansion on the Nightmare Before Christmas concept--love it!

I might be in minority, but I say Emporer's New Groove all the way. That could be great... it could be a coaster or dark ride either could be great.

They are making a new Tron movie, so maybe we will get to see a Tron ride in our lifetime.

I think Meet the Robinsons has potential for a 'dark ride'. They could make an attraction base on the Dinosaur and Bowler Hat dude in the future. Bowler Hat dude has lots of potential for a 'fun' dark ride. I also think Meet the Robinsons would be a great idea for Imagination at Epcot.
