What dishware is in an OKW studio?

Do we need to bring cereal bowls? Spoons? How much coffee stuff is provided (if any)? Is the fridge large enough for a gallon of milk or should I get half gallons?

Any other eating in the studio tips would be appreciated!

Everything is paper/plastic, except the coffee mugs and glassware. If you are at SSR or OKW you may have to request the glassware. You will have paper plates and paper bowls, and plastic silverware, a can opener and perhaps a corkscrew. You can request the can opener or corkscrew from housekeeping if needed.

You will have a filter pack of coffee -- usually 1 regular and 1 decaf enough for 8 c of coffee. I bring other coffee and flat basket filters if I don't have a large enough supply of coffee in filter packs at home (gathered from other hotel rooms).

I usually bring a few cheap plastic containers for leftovers, and microwaving, and also ziplocks in many sizes.

I usually throw in a few microwaveable plastic containers with lids, the Glad or Ziploc kind - they can also be used for storage. And if you're a coffee drinker, bring your own. What they provide is pretty bad.

You can fit a gallon of milk in the studio fridge, but you might have to move a shelf

At OKW right now in a studio and the previous posters are correct, paper cups/plates/bowls, plastic utensils, can opener & cork screw. Fridge will easily fit a gallon of milk, water bottles, several cans of pop/soda, a gallon of Orange Juice in the fridge. Coffee is here but bring your own if you're picky, it's not very good. It also has a small freezer that we had frozen micro sausage/bacon in. Have fun, we leave tomorrow!

I was just going to ask this about saratoga! We have a 2 bedroom there, and with plastic/paper stuff, how much do they give you? What if we use them up, do we pay extra for more?

In the 2 bedroom, you will have all real stuff as there is a dishwasher in your kitchen. I tend to bring ziplocs, but in my week at OKW a couple weeks ago, there were these rubbermaid storage things... another thing I was happy to see was that they provided more dishwashing soap. In the past, I have always brought some from home or bought some in the grocery store down there, but this year there was a full box!

Remember, these are the things that are theoretically in your studio. One time I only got 3 spoons, and this last time I had neither knives nor a sponge. However, a quick run to the mousekeepers (it wa cleaning time on our floor so they were right there) produced anything we were short. Just a word of warning however-when I first asked for them, the mousekeepers looked at me blankly. However, when I repeated my request in Spanish (something I'm used to having to do where I live) the requested items were promptly and cheerfully supplied.
