What Discounts Do You get with the Disney Visa?

We do not have a Disney Visa, because our MC has a very low interest rate. What is the buzz on having the Disney Visa? What discounts will we get? Thanks.

From what I've read, you get advance notice on discounts a few days before the general public. You have to put it on your card to get the discount. I don't believe, in general, you get any "special" rates. Maybe 6 months same as cash or something?

You can use your Disney Visa to get 15-20% off tours at WDW. You get a 10% (?) discount at World of Disney. When you book a vacation at WDW with your Disney Visa, you get 6 months same as cash to pay for your trip. You sometimes get to take advantage of discounts on vacations a few days before the general public. I recently got an e-mail saying if I used my Disney Visa to buy my Disney on Ice tickets, I could buy one ticket, get one free (yes, I DID take advantage of that offer). Sometimes Disney offers exclusive vacation discounts to Disney Visa cardholders. You also earn points (albeit, not many) with every purchase that you can redeem toward a vacation or toward other Disney merchandise or movies.

Just to elaborate, you don't actually have to USE your card at the WOD to get the discount, you just have to show it. In fact, last time I was there I forgot to bring my card but showed my rewards card and that was even good enough to get the discount!
