Ever come back from running errands, walk into your house/kitchen, take a good wiff and were like

"What in gods green earth died in this house?"

(either that or - where's the dog and what kind of "surprise" did you leave me?"

Dang that kitchen trash stank to high heck! Luckily it's BEAUTFIUL out today - fired up 3 candles and opened all the windows!

I wonder what DID die in there

 Yep! It has happened to me. Usually after I clean out the fridge and forget to immediately remove the trash.

Sure balme whatever you want stinkerbelle

Sometimes the humidity brings up smells out of the carpeting.

I think our Grandmother's and great grandmothers would roll over if they knew the kind of spring cleaning we did.

Imagine coming home from a two week vacation only to discover that your refrigerator died sometime while you were gone.

One year we did come home from our vacation and the electricity had gone off to the garage fridge. I loaded it all up and took it over to the dumpster at the school.

I'm constantly getting on DH about the smells in the kitchen...I just can't get it through his head that things like chicken bones just can't go in the trash in the house or it will smell like death.

the dd's get a bunch of little easter baskets (very small, few pieces of candy and a small toy like stickers or something) from their friends and various family members. easter was like what, over a month ago? the other night i notice a smell coming from the dining room. stinky but not over powering and i couldn't find it. there were several of these little baskets (still unopened) on the dining room table. last night i go in again and it's stronger. i start opening them one by one... one of the baskets contained a real easter egg that had cracked open! EWWW!!! :scared:

It could be your garbage disposal... some cut up lemons will help it. :)

Or how about when you cook broccoli/cauliflower and DD walks in after being dropped off by another girl's parents (who also come in) and says....EEEEWWWWWWWW!!! Daddy TOOTED!!!!!

Hah, Aikodude! That reminds me of last year when my kids pulled down their Easter baskets and found a real egg from the YEAR before---which they then started playing hot potato with on the sofa, until it broke open on a sofa cushion. Talk about gross!!!
(Thanks for the memories!)

Does anyone else find it mildly amusing that the OP's name is stinkerbelle?

Sorry 'bout that - I had to chuckle. :)

Today's PSA: if your cat(s) will let you, switch over to litter pearls. They're a miracle! :)

We came home from a 12 days on an Alaskan Cruise only to find one of the potties had not been flushed before we left... :crazy2:

It was only pee, but BOY OH BOY did it stink!!!!!

Those are my EXACT WORDS everytime DH exits the bathroom!
