What did you wish you had packed?

The best part is all the planning.....LV + Las Vegas? Lucky you! :cheer2:

Yes Las Vegas it is!! When you have to fly 12 hours to get to LA I like to make the most of it if I can..!! :thumbsup2

Things I won't forget to pack:

Sharpies for autographs and ones to leave in ziplock with items for autographs at the main desk (we did photo mats last year with only red and black markers and they look FABULOUS)

I like the photo mat idea, and I love :lovestruc the red and black marker idea!! Thanks for sharing. :flower3:

I'm going to make sure my watch is *waterproof*. Last cruise I got burned so bad snorkeling the day before we left that I couldn't be in the sun the rest of the cruise. We all have swim shirts but I need to make sure we lotion the baks of our legs, ears, etc.

I really missed not having a digital clock for the middle of the night when you wake up.

If you do the FE, make sure you bring extra ziplock bags. We got SO much stuff from the other 14 families doing it, that we packed up 9 goodie bags and gave them out to other families we met in the restaurants. My girls loved spreading the magic and fun around!pixiedust:

OK ladies, enlighten me... what is a wristlet? I was thinking of bringing a small clutch wallet, is that the same thing?

I sent you an e-mail, since I can't post a pic unless it's uploaded to the internet... I made wristlets as Christmas gifts, so I don't want to post the pics to my Flickr site just yet!

I know that Vera Bradley makes cute ones like the ones I made, only not "disneyfied"! http://www.amazon.com/Vera-Bradley-Case-Many-Colors/dp/B003UMF5GO/ref=pd_sbs_a_2

The ones I made are big enough for the KTTW, plus my small Canon digital camera and/or a lip gloss/chapstick...

Im a big fan of the zip lock bags!
We packed all our clothes in them when we did the TransAtlantic this past September.
I just sorted out DH and my clothes so we had our own. The cabinet held all our clothes. Nicer part was everything was in one spot and clothes didnt fall out.
One thing I would bring... a night gown. Gone all thoses day, and I forgot night wear!!!!:lmao: And a travel clock... our room didnt have one.:headache:

My 16 year old sons collared shirts for dinner. I had to buy him two shirts at the ships shop, expensive. Thank the good Lord, I remember his dress shirt and tie.
:):):):)

A wristlet is something like a mini clutch with a strap that you can put on your wrist and still hold the clutch, if that makes sense...

I copied an image from google.... I think my description is pretty close.

You nailed it! It is a priceless gem on the cruise ship for me. I also found a Minnie Mouse themed wristlet at the Disney Store Outlet and paid $2.00 for it. You can find them anywhere though. Check out Target, Wal-Mart or anyplace that sells purses and/or wallets.

You can also buy Dooney & Burke wristlets at the Disney parks and at Disneystore.com. :thumbsup2

On my Bahamas 4-night, I managed to pack pants/shorts without pockets or belt loops, so I was really wishing I had a lanyard for my key to the world card, like they give to Castaway Club members. Found one finally in the gift shop but it was the last day so I didn't bother.

Definitely bring a night light. Why they don't have some kind of low level lighting in the cabin mystifies me.

Also, binoculars. I asked on this board before I left, and concluded that I'd leave them home. But boy I wished I had them. There were times when I wanted to see a distant ship, or Freeport as we sailed by, or even a closeup look at the Flying Dutchman. It would also have been cool to look across the lagoon at CC while we lounged.

A travel coffee cup w/lid. The dixie cup sized cups at the coffee machine are just too small.

A collapsible storage cube that i put on the desktop, and i put all the loose ends in it, from battery charges to cameras etc. It seemed to keep things a bit more organised for us!

We also took our own wine and beer and got wine glasses from the bar!

I love the idea of the storage cube....we have an over the door shoe organizer, but since we are in a wheelchair accessible room, I have to use heavy duty twist ties to tie it on the support bar in the bathroom because there is very little counter space and NO storage or cabinet in the bathroom.

I always have a shoebox at home with our "necessities" like:
small flashlight
clothespins
coffee cups with lids.popcorn::

My own blow dryer. The one in the stateroom had zero power. It took forever to blow dry my hair.

I'm definitely bringing a clock this time. And forcing DH to wear a watch!

My own hair dryer because the one in the room is too powerful and blows my hair around...

Totally do not bring any sort of timepiece..that way as soon as our cell phones quit working DH buys me a new Mickey Watch!

Can I ask why the wristlet and not a small little purse or camera bag that you can wear across your chest? That was my plan because I didn't want to have to carry or hold anything - but I wondered if there was a different reason to have a wristlet instead.

I'm with you on that! If it's not connected to my body, chances are, I'm going to leave it somewhere. :confused3 I always take my "baggalllini teenee bag". It can be worn cross-body or as a waist pack. It's small, but fits all your necessities. Here's a link: http://www.ebags.com/product/baggallini/teeneebagg-crinkle-nylon/47361?productid=510085
