sliced fresh pears....the ghetto store with very cheap fruit somehow found washington pears and sold them at 88 cents a pound two weeka ago...naturally they were green so wife stuck them outside on the massive patio with 5 tables...preparing my desert granola ceral....where are those pears....a little on the ripe side...but pure goodness, fresh gassed wharehouse fruit in the middle of winter. they were bartlet pears also....very good.

a fresh picked tangelo from orchard down the street....bought 20....on the news last night that this may be the last citrus we will see....florida at WW2 shortages and poor guy selling thiem at 6 for a buck...but hey ...don't take my word...I am just an anagram.
