What did you have for dinner last night?

Texas Roadhouse. Sirloin 8oz medium rare. Ceasar salad and seasoned rice. Plus a couple rolls.

Daaaang Skiingfast, do you hold stock in Texas Roadhouse????

Teriyaki salmon, au gratin potatoes and the vegetables from French Market that are carrots and zucchini sauteed in butter with Herbs du Provence.

I happen to go through a city when I go out of town and often go there to shop every 2 or 3 months. I'm not sure I've had dinner anywhere else in that area for 6 or 7 years.

Chilie and Lime chicken cooked on the BBQ, rice, pico de gallo and corn on the cob and a nice cold glass of lime-ade :goodvibes

Fresh roadkill, to be exact a nice, fine squirrel, which was great, because it saved me from having to go out and do some squirrel huntin' for dinner. I marinated it in teriyaki sauce for 24 hours, then grilled it on my baby foreman grill. With it, I made a tossed salad, literally tossed, matter of fact, because I dropped the bowl that the salad was in, so seeing how I believe in the 3 second rule, I tossed it back into said bowl. It was delicious, although it had some crunch that I do not recall being in the salad originally. Oh well....
For dessert I had some lovely tapioca pudding, that I thought had raisins in it, but it turned out to be dead flies, well actually there was one little guy that was still moving about, but it was too late to save him, because I did not realize this until I put the spoon into my mouth. And what with believen that extra protein cannot be bad for you, I figured thats fine. All in all, it was a fine meal indeed! Would y'all like to come on over and set a spell while partaking in fine back country dining with me? Just let me know, so I can put an extra dish out for ya..... see ya real soon now, ya hear?

Beef and vegatable kabobs with steamed rice.

That sounds tasty, but not nearly so in comparison to my leftover squirrel on a bun. I made that panini style, on my baby Forman grill. Added to that, b b q chips, very tasty indeedy. :) Oh, and on my bun I had spread a very nice remoulade. It reminded me of the same type that is served with Café Orleans Pommes Frites. Yummy!

Thai food...YUM! yellow curry, param long song, pineapple fried rice, yum!!!!

Roasted pork with steam green beans and sauted kale.

Kale you say? I say no way Jose! And I and Jose are unanimous!

Gisels :rotfl: You'd better lay off the roadkill from Skiingfast's freezer!

Sauteed kale is excellent! I like it in something though and my kids will only eat it if disguised and morphed into something else such as lasagna.

Honey Bourbon shrimp, mashed potatoes.

Potato and lentil bolani with garlic mint cheese, hummus, eggplant pesto and sundried tomato hummus.

I was lucky enough to have a friend bring me Panda Express tonight. If only I wasn't in a retirement community I could have had some real Chinese food.

Used some of the leftover pork from a couple nights ago and made BBQ pork sandwiches.
