What did you have for dinner last night?

Which I am now having, being Schloss- "The Castle", with tortillas. How is that for being multi-cultural? Being Austrian, American and Spanish. It is so nice when everyone can get along....

Garden Burgers with honey bbq sauce on toasted wheat bread. I'm thinking I may grab some shrimp or fish and do a seafood thing tomorrow night.

mesquite seasoned grilled hamburgers (so yummy!) and sweet potato fries

Tonight we'll make chicken carbonara with cheesy garlic bread

Oohh that does sound good, I will be right over. And I will bring cheese, and if you like I have two bottles of wine to which one can choose from. They were a gift from a very nice woman that I had met during my travels, whose husband works in the wine industry.

Earlier, I noshed upon cheese again, and yes, at the same locale, :) that was my early dining appetizer. Followed with Sprite (Yum) and a really tasty confection that is like rocky road candy, only it is raspberry/almond flavor. It is a new product to me. It comes from San Rafael, and is sold at the cheese factory. I cannot quite remeber the name, so when I do, then I will share it. But that is what the confection is. And it is just so tasty! Between my cheese eating and candy, I hope that I do not end up like the Universe.... ever expanding! :faint: But then, I do remind myself that I have never seen a fat cow, so therefore, I think that I am safe from that possible fate, cheese wise. Of course, cows do a lot of walking. I use to, so I better step it up.

Oh Gisele - if it weren't so true, I'd get a good laugh about the Cali diet!
Skiingfast - how do you make those kale chips? How long do you cook them and at what temp? I'm going to grow organic kale soon.

Had to have spaghetti tonight, yeccch, for ds' first day of school.

Spaghetti always tastes better in the opinion of my taste buds with Parmesan Cheese....and garlic bread too....... yes......... cheese again.... Maybe I can find a nice cheese maker to marry? Although, I would rather prefer a fine chocolatier instead. That being a fine guy that makes fine chocolate. Which gives me an idea .... oh no.... not another one... ;) anyway, a chocolate spa, where fine chocolates and chocolate drinks, including a chocolate wine that I have seen, although I don't know what that tastes like, all the same, this would be my menu. Of course, cheese goes with chocolate too, so that might be offered as well.

Cut the Kale into 2x2inch pieces. Completely coat in olive oil and place in a single layer on baking sheet. Sprinkle with salt and chopped garlic. Bakes at 350 for 15 minutes, but make sure they don't brown.

Best use for Kale ever.

Last night had Texas Road House while I was on the road.

I worked a lot yesterday......again....so DD made dinner, it was Hamburger Helper Stroganoff and crescent rolls. lol It was good but a total kid choice meal.

Gisele - LOL, I'd looove to open a candy store! I sooo love candy buffets at parties! Look out guy in the Ferrari with chocolate!
Have you had a B52 drink? My absolute favorite. There are wines with undertones of chocolate too.

Thanks Skiingfast! Will try!

Buttered mesquite salmon, mushroom couscous, broccoli

This evening, cream cheese jalapeño poppers, then a tuna sand which, b b q chips with a cherry/vanilla coke. Yeah, I know some of you are probably thinking ewe and gross, but it works for me. ;) :)

I have not tried that drink, Cagirl. What does it taste like? Anything like a Cosmo?

We had a marching band function last night, they fed us. :) We had potluck, I had some rice, kalua pork, another Asian noodle dish, cheesy potatoes, salad, chips and salsa. It was gooooood!! :) I want to do it again for the pork! YUM!!

Yum, all of the above and above that, and so on, sounds so tasty! I love fries too!

Chicken Salad as a later snack because I had a burger for a late lunch.

Right now, I am noshing upon Cookie Crisp without milk. That is breakfast and a snack all rolled into one like really cool and groovy thing to eat man!

Chili's (Grilled Chicken Sandwich/Mashed Potatoes/Coke)
