DH and I don't celebrate the big V day.

...at least not with presents. ;)

It was the 174th month anniversary that we got engaged.

I got lovely flowers & a balloon. Got a date nite scheduled when his work schedule gets back on an evel keel.

I didn't get "my loved one" anything for Valentines Day, we are having a candlelight dinner for two Tuesday night! We went out to dinner last Tuesday before the crowds.

I did make up 5 huge goody bags for DS and his 4 College Buddies. I plan on putting them in their dorm room for a surprise. I went with a valentines/red theme... lots of valentines candy, pens, ramen noodles, coke in the bottle, hot cocoa etc..anything I could find that was packaged in valentines or red. I hope they like them, your never too cool to get a gift like that, right?

Since we just had our third child...I figured that we had 3 little valentines that are better than flowers or candy. So, we are not giving gifts this time.
Once things settle down, I would love to just go out with him for a quiet dinner without having to order kiddie meals and keeping children in their chairs. :teeth:

I haven't finished shopping for him yet. I got him a bottle of wine and a pair of silk boxers. Ooh la la!

Not sure what else I'll get him. He loves chocolate, so maybe I'll get him some good quality dark chocolates.

The Hallmark Lion is so cute! :goodvibes

DH and I decided this year to just do cards... sometime while we are in a store we will pick out a card and say "here is the one I would have got you" :rotfl2: Works for us ;)

But, we did get a few little things for DD's. Oldest DD in college will have to wait until we go visit on Thursday to get hers (I already mailed her a card). She is getting a jar filled with chocolate and the jar is covered in frogs (something she collects) and the DVD Elizabethtown (she loves Orlando Bloom). Younger DD is also getting candy and a DVD... Zeus and Roxanne (she is a dolphin freak).

I got him some Homer Simpson as 'Cupid' cufflinks. They are so cute. I normally get socks and boxer shorts with hearts on and stuff so it was a nice change. :lovestruc

I got DH a couples massage (I guess I get a present here too :goodvibes ), a sports coat, card, and a subscription to a magazine. Then at the end of the month we have our 25th Anniversary (we already went to WDW stayed at the WL to celebrate that), plus we'll plan a small getaway to Savannaha Ga., that week.

Can we post everything....invisible ink Fuzzy Handcuffs!!

Our last trip to Disney. We decided that would be our Valentine's and Anniversary presents. I'll probably make a nice dinner and give him a card, too.

DH got me something from JC Pennys that cost $400.00 :scared1: I "got" him, meaning gave him my blessing, a 22 rifle. He's at the store getting it right now.

We've never ever done anything for Valentines day, never even exchanged gifts on this day. We haven't planned anything as of yet. Maybe I'll buy her a card ( a real one, not an E-card)

Sure you do, it's just not gift wrapped :rotfl: . I got new jammies for the gift wrap part! :lmao:

Oh, and my menfolk are getting boxes of See's chocolates. 1lb custom mix for DH, and truffles for the kids.

Suzanne

I bought DH Faith Hills "Fireflies"
DD - at college - mailed her Elizabethtown and Bambi 2 - bag of Hershey kisses and a bag of Cupid corn - think candy corn only red/pink/white.
DS - DVD and a bag of M&M's

I got her a gift certificate to the place where she likes to tan. She has been talking about starting back since Christmas. I was worried she would go and buy a package herself before Valentine's, but it looks like I'm going to get away with it.

She got me an MP3 player......so now I can listen to Disney podcasts! LOL

Oh, and we got DS a membership in the Disney Book Club from Scholastic and a couple of Disney movies.

I got my boyfriend a $20 amazon gift certificate, a huge bag of fun size snickers as well as a gushy romantic card, and a cute funny one.

I got my boyfriend a cute mug that says "Sugar Daddy" on it and a card (the mug is a little nickname because he is a few years older.) I was afraid to ship anything else in case it got lost! I am going to visit him in London Feb 23-27 so we are celebrating then, and I may bring something else, but I haven't decided yet.

Well, a bottle of Burberry Weekend cologne which is my favorite, silk boxers, something else I can't mention here, and I am going to step out of my comfort zone and actually make him a card this year.

Have orderd D a box of muffins to be delivered to work, this should prompt him to get me something on the way home!

:sunny:
