What did you or the kids get DH for Father's Day? I love hearing what everyone else does and getting new ideas!

I got DH a vacuum for his car that he wanted.

DD's were supposed to get him a stamped metal keychain with their names/b-days on it, but a certain duo has decided not to show up so we don't know everybody's name & DOB yet. So that'll have to wait.

I'm getting him a Bose speaker for his computer that he wants and I get his old one for mine!:)

Disney Gift Cards. We always have a trip planned, so that is what we get each other for Mothers and Fathers Day, and often times birthdays :)

My son got him some CD's. He's very hard to shop for so he picked out some new equipment for his music room and I said that'll be from me.

we agreed to skip gifts for mother's day and father's day this year, and instead get tickets to go on a brunch cruise for the Tall ships bicentennial of the War of 1812 in Boston Harbor later this month for the 3 of us as a family.

Nothing, he is not my dad. Our kids are grown I have no idea what they will get him.

Tickets for a live filming of a Prairie Home Companion in our town this weekend-and arranged for our monthly neighborhood work party to be at our house on Sunday to help build our treehouse :)

County park annual pass so he can have unlimited access to the boat launches and the new splash park.

We got him a leather jacket, however, I kinda forgot our anniversary and gave him the jacket last weekend. Luckily, I shopped ahead for Father's Day, though now I'm behind and have to scramble for something. lol

He has an Amazon wish list, so I guess I'll be getting something on there tonight!

Made him a t-shirt with a pic of the kids wearing their Mickey ears. It says "Voted #1 Dad" on top then the pic then below "by your Mouseketeers". It turned out really cute. It only took 6 pics before I finally got one where everyone is smiling and looking at the camera and no glare on the glasses (2 wear glasses). What did we do before digital cameras? :rotfl:

I've got him a year's subscription to a streaming channel (Acorn TV, which is basically an American import of the British ITV and is chock full of great mysteries) and a membership to the KOA campgrounds. A gift for each daughter. We have a trip scheduled for the end of the month, destination TBA, but I'm rooting for Mystic, CT. :)

I want your husband. Okay, that came out sooo wrong but I mean it! lol... my DH would throw giftcards in my face if I bought them for him. :rotfl2:

I bought him a Groupon deal for a baseball game... good for up to 4 people (oddly the size of our family) and all the food you can eat & soda/beer you can drink. It's not much but he just bought himself new rims/wheels/brakes for his car and that's supposed to serve as his father's day/anniversary gift. For our anniversary he's also getting a tv mount that swivels. I think he'll be more excited about that than the baseball game :confused3

I got him the exotic car experience, he got it early, before our last trip. Dd's each got hime something smaller (mechanics gloves and a money clip that he wanted).

The kids and I are making his favorite blueberry cheesecake and getting him wings for dinner.

We decided a long time ago that Mother's Day and Father's Day would be about gestures and thoughtfulness rather than gifts.

Hubby is getting the First Season of Boardwalk Empire (he loves that cable show) on sale at Target a couple of weeks ago. From our dd14

Also he is a big kid so I picked up a bunch of balloons and a water balloon launcher. haha:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: :lmao:

I might make an ice cream cake as the oven is broken and won't get a new replacement for at lease three weeks. Double Oven almost two years old. Breaks down everytime I self clean. Electorlux is replacing entire unit. :thumbsup2 Shame I can't cook in the oven honey!!!:rotfl2:

microwave or stove top cooking for now.

We got him a new drill. Baby Z figured Daddy can build her a swingset with it someday. ;) He got it quite early (before she was even born) and he's used it lots already.

a HP touchpad (Refurbished) and a book from each of the children (that he can read to them). (for the record he didn't do anything for mothers day... i made myself some hand prints, asked him about half way through the day if he was doing anything and he said no. Said DD didn't want to make anything so he didn't bother... men!)

We got DH a bike. He needed a new one and was likely going to buy one anyway, so I figured it was a good excuse to get it now!
