What did you do with your spare time before VMK?

It seems like there are some people on VMK whenever I'm on there. And I'm on their quite a bit in the evenings. So I was wondering, what did everyone do with their spare time before they started playing VMK?

I find that I stay up later because I don't want to miss anything. LOL. Other than that, I used to play games on pogo in the evenings after work, or watch TV (but TV stinks--maybe something good will be on in the fall).

I used to watch a lot more TV at home and spend a lot more time bored on the job :)

watch tv and play ps2 with the kiddies. Now they are in vmk on their comp, and i'm on mine. So we have just transferred the game playing outlet. Poor ps2, i really should dust it off. ;) It will be back in full swing once Kingdom Hearts 2 is released i'm sure (cant wait).

I'm with you jelly, i find myself on the comp much later than i would be if i were simply online. But starting this week (actually thursday woohoo) i will prob not be on much at all on sundays or monday nights due to my first love. No not the wife, i mean football. (hope she doesnt read that). :rotfl2:

I hope you say you are an Eagles Fan!

Played Pogo as well and watched TV, though TV stinks except for Thurs nights when Survivor is on. Since starting VMK, I haven't gotten very many badges on Pogo. LOL

Pogo is a game site. They have tons of games and you can play against people or just yourself. You can play most of the games for free, but if you join you are given challenges every week, like one of this weeks challenges is to get Gin 50 times. If you complete the challenge you get a badge you can wear. You also have chances to win other prizes like gift certificates, etc. But i've never won. The games are fun and I really enjoy it. My mom and sister play as well so we go into the same game rooms and chat some evenings, well before VMK that is.

Before VMK I sat and stared at my DH wondering why he loved the XBox more than me :badpc: :rotfl:

Now, DH sits and stares at me wondering why I love VMK more than him.

But honestly, there was a lot more Pumpkinfish/DH time before VMK but I think he feels happier knowing he doesn't have to rub my feet every night :cool1: . And, like many others have stated, nothing good on TV any more!

I have not tried Pogo, but have been known to frequent Gamehouse often in the past. As long as VMK is around, they will be missing a player on Gamehouse. ::yes:: Outside of the games, I am a reality TV junkie. You name the reality...I am probably watching it. :3dglasses

...
OMG - Exactly the same in my house!

Since we have a 6month old we don't have a social life right now, so lots of time for VMK :teeth:

:wave2:

I don't remember. Was there life before VMK? :rotfl2: Just kidding! I used to clean more, I think. I know I used to watch more TV and read my various books about Disney(but I'm almost done with those) and plan the next Disney trip of course. :teeth:

Ah, yes, Kingdom Hearts 2. How am I going to manage time for that and VMK? I haven't figured that out yet. But I am right there with you Moussedude. I can't wait either!

Hi, my name is Cindy and I too was a Pogo addict. Before VMK I played Pogo games after work to unwind and became obsessed with badges. I also used to watch more tv (who knows what will happen with the new season coming) and read a lot more.

And btw Jelly, you still owe me for the drycleaning bill after you wiped your face on my pretty dress. :rotfl2:

Well depending on which random date you want to believe..lol..

EB Games has a ship date on their website (unconfirmed) of December 1, 2005
Game Stop has a date on their site (also unconfirmed) of February 2, 2006

so i guess we will see. It has been rumored all year that it would hit shelves before christmas, but this is the first date i have seen that pushes it into 2006, so we'll have to wait and hope for december. :confused3

i was all about the SIMS!! in fact, when i can't play vmk anymore (i'm on the west coast so it's done at 10pm for me) i will go play them sometimes. :)

i'm a total SIMS addict too!

I used to watch a heckuva lot of reality TV. Apprentice, Survivor, Dancing
with the Stars, Amazing Race....and only currently....Big Brother. (whew!)

And that was not even counting CSI, Lost or Desperate Housewives! ;)

And reading. I still do read quite a bit, but I've cut down on that
considerably since VMK.

(Oh, just a note: I just picked up the new Imagineering Field Guide to the
Magic Kingdom. I've read much of it through Main Street USA and
Adventureland. It rocks. I can't wait to continue my journey through
that book.)
