I’m going to a friend’s annual holiday party on Saturday. He texted me a recipe for eggnog cheesecake with no note. Pretty sure that is a hint! We’ll see if I have time tomorrow to make it.

Here are my trays for our family Christmas celebration tomorrow (DS and family are headed out of state to DIL's family for Christmas).
The blank spot is where the Chocolate Chip Cheesecake bars will go (the are in the refigerator).
The snowman plate is gluten free for DD

Air fryer chex mix...chex peanuts bugles and white cheddar cheezits... love my air fryer. Only takes 15 minutes at 250...shaking every 5 minutes.

Today is my baking day! Have a massive amount of dough ready in the fridge. Forgot what I’ve made along the way. Will be interesting to see what I end up with.

Just wanted to share my one of my favorite cookies and some bars. Made the Linzer cookies first to give them time blend together.

Also made the best bars ever- magic cookie bars with chocolate and some with butterscotch.

Cookies are done! My kitchen is a mess and my whole body hurts, but cookie boxes/ trays are packed to hand out tomorrow and everything leftover goes to work with me where I make a small cookie table for the dept I work in. I actually remembered to put some aside in the freezer for our family to have over the next week and some for Santa.

I plan to bake Trader Joe’s pumpkin box mix muffins to have the house smelling good, when my family arrives tonight for DisneyWorld fun to begin.
So excited they just announced Trader Joe’s is Opening a new location close to WDW !

I was really craving pecan pie, but I cannot have nuts. I found a recipe for a pretzel pie instead it's just like pecan pie but with pretzels. I made it over the weekend and it was fantastic.

Baking officially began tonight. No fancy presentations and the more fun cookies still need to cool and be decorated but it’s progress. @LoveDaisy the molds may work after all but the cookies are thick. I did wind up spraying with basic cooking spray. The trees came right out but the snowflakes are being temperamental. I put them in the freezer overnight to see if that makes removal easier. I’m not going to attempt the third mold… unless I take a straight candy approach.

Update-

I woke up in the middle of the night and decided to test the snowflakes. They came out of the molds perfectly after several hours in the deep freeze. I can also see the vein details and the iridescent white sugar I sprinkled in the molds. So maybe this will work with the more intricate shapes. I plan to fill the molds with melted chocolate and sprinkles to dip the rough sides to complete the appearance. So more pics of these to come.
